Services
Rockey Auctions, based in New Columbia, Pennsylvania, provides comprehensive auction services intended to maximize the current market potential for complete and partial estates, collections of assets, antiques, collectibles, furniture, guns, coins, jewelry, clocks, household goods, and more. Since 1997, founder, Clint Rockey, has worked in the auction business in one form or another.
Liquidating an estate can be overwhelming. Whether you're downsizing, moving, or have lost a loved one, figuring out the value of items and finding buyers can be exhausting. It's stressful to sell things for their best market value, which is why Rockey Auctions offers estate auction services-to help customers take the essential steps to liquidating assets with as little hassle and headache as possible.
We use a 'soft close'. If a bid is placed on an item that has 2 minutes or less left an additional 2 minutes will be added. This will continue until there are no more bids placed within the last 2 minutes. This prevents a bidder from 'snagging' an item from someone in the last few seconds and gives everyone the same odds of winning.

I ordered a computer monitor from Rockey Auctions and 2 other items. The auction listed photos and a photo of the monitor turning on. Rocky auctions materially failed to accurately represent the monitor as it had a crack in it. I know this because after the auction the UPS store alerted me that the monitor had a crack in it and they did not want to be liable for damage incurred during shipping. Rockey auctions essentially performed a bait and switch by deliberately not listing a crack in a very expensive monitor and expecting to cover themselves by repeatedly saying "as is". They deliberately fail

Great stuff for cheap. Read the auction rules before you bid. Items are "As Is" so you should look at the pictures closely or go to the preview times. Great deals if you know what you are looking for.

I would HIGHLY suggest going in to preview items before bidding. Things that are very clearly broken are not mentioned in the descriptions a lot of times. If you cannot go to preview items, buyer beware.

Nice people but terrible with descriptions and pictures. I wouldn't bid unless you are able to look over items before auction. I ended up with a cordless drill but no battery, a grill without legs, and many items damaged. None of this mentioned in description.

This is the go-to place to buy stuff you need. Keep in mind it's as-is where-is. Meaning they don't have time to test everything. Everything I've bought works just fine. But keep in mind that a lot of things are store returns. Meaning it might not work properly or have all of it's accessories. They are open all week, if you're concerned, go look at whatever you want to bid on. Can't be any easier than that!

They apparently have no problem with others stealing items out of your lot of items, but still expect you to pay for the item. I will never go back and as a business owner I can say that is shady business on their part, I refuse to pay for something that someone else stole
