The Greater Wildwood Yacht Club is a private yacht club providing programs for its members, their families and their guests. The Club supports and endorses sailing, sailing education, boating and dining and provides social and recreational amenities for the benefit of its membership.

The Club is family oriented and maintains an inviting atmosphere to encourage members to make our Club their first choice for entertaining their family, friends and associates. The Club strives to be the "preferred community" for its members with the guidance and leadership of the Club's Flag officers, Board of Governors and volunteer committees.
Services
This non-profit corporation shall be known as the Greater Wildwood Yacht Club. The corporate seal and the club burgee are as illustrated on the cover page of these bylaws. The object of this club shall be to encourage the sport of yachting and sailboat racing, to promote the science of seamanship and navigation and to provide and maintain a suitable Club House and anchorage for the recreation and use of its members.
Marina-The Greater Wildwood Yacht Club offers twenty in-water slips for powerboats and sailboats up to 24 ft. EZ Port Jet Ski / Waverunner ramps are available on a limited basis. An electric hoist system provides launching for other watercraft. Reservations for boat slips are available beginning January.
Another annual Memorial Day Event, our Flag Raising and Opening of the Club, takes on a different look this year. Thanks to Robert Bullington, 2009 Past Commodore and Technology Committee Chairman, we were able to film segments of the flag raising while maintaining social distancing. In addition to filming, Rob performed a heartfelt version of My Country 'Tis of Thee.
It's always bittersweet when the Greater Wildwood Yacht Club comes together to remove our docks, safely and securely to ensure that they are ready for the next season. Our greatest strength is in the hard work of our members, who generously volunteer to complete this important task. Of course, we always make even the most difficult projects fun and rewarding!

My family and I joined the GWYC this past year after a good friend of ours recommended it. What a great experience - awesome views, very nice people and this is during a summer where you really couldn’t enjoy the whole experience due to COVID. Looking forward to many future summers at GWYC.

Everyone has been welcoming. As a new member I'm excited to get to some of the social events. The location can't be beat. Summer of fun on the water incoming!

I’ve been a member of this club for over 10 year. This is one of the nicest places to spend your summer days and nights. The club has a large bay front property on Sunset Lake in Wildwood Crest, NJ. The members make up a wonderful community of people who enjoy boating, sailing, kayaking, paddle boarding, and swimming.
The club also sponsors a day camp for children teaching sailing and racing. There are kayaks and sail boats for members to use. The weekend social events are really fun.
If you live in the wildwoods, this is probably one of the nicest and most convenient places to keep you watercraft

Great place to spend your summer sailing, kayaking, paddle boarding and swimming. Super sunsets & fun activities. We've made so many friends for life during our time at GWYC. A down to earth yacht club for kids and adults.
