Art Explosion Tattoo and Body Piercing Company began back in 2008. We started off in a little building off Robertson Street in Brandon Florida. It wasn't a very big building but I made it work until I could move to a better building in Tampa, off Waters ave at the intersection with Armenia. There was a lot more room, more stations, along with new clients.

DO NOT touch your tattoo without thoroughly washing your hands with hot water and an antibacterial soap for as long as it takes to sing "happy birthday." Continue to use Aquaphor three to four times a day to prevent your tattoo from drying out and losing ink. This procedure should be used until the tattoo is completely healed, which can take up to two months.

My friend and I were walk ins. Got us in right away. Coco was amazing and made the experience very easy. The only reason why I'm giving four and not five stars is that once we came in it was a little awkward waiting for anyone to come over and initiate the conversation. Shop was clean, music wasn't super loud. Overall great experience!

The worst tattoo experience I have ever had! DO NOT GO. I'm guessing they offer discounts to anyone who would write them a decent review on Google. The piercer, Damien, was an idiot and the tattoo artist was incompetent. They even tried to change the price on us after the dermals were said and done. The shop was short of an "explosion" and more of a dissapointment.

This shop is awesome. Friends and I spontaneously wanted a tattoo on a Sunday morning. We called almost every shop in town but no answer. This was the only shop that actually called us back as soon as they opened. We walked in and they took care of us ASAP! Josue was awesome and a blast to be around. He did great work plus his vibe made the experience even better! Definitely coming back!
