My name is Christa Miner, and I am the Owner-Operator of Innovative Solutions Massage Therapy. I have been in Austin for most of my life and consider myself an Austinite through and through.
I graduated from the Academy for Massage Therapy Training in San Antonio in 2015 after working for a big massage therapy franchise, inspired to further my career upon seeing the effect those therapists had on their clients and the professional relationships they developed.

Massage therapy is great for relaxation but its also super great for mobilization, chronic pain, injury rehabilitation and prevention, Just to name a few! No, it should not be painful. All massages are completely customized to you! This also means the pressure of a deep tissue massage is based on what you need.
UPDATE: I've been to Christa twice for two different areas of massage: lower back and neck/shoulder. Both times she got to the problem areas and got me immediate relief. She is excellent at deep tissue massage (the only type I ever get) and has a terrific knowledge of musculature. I do CrossFit and am a wedding photographer, so I love a good massage therapist when I find one!

Booking experience is very easy, and rescheduling on the website is an easy process. Overall, very high quality sport massage. Great techniques, and good variation in services. If it’s your first time, book a 90 min as that is the full body service. The 60 minute is great to work in for your trouble spots.

Crista is amazing. I started taking my son who plays baseball, because he was having trouble with his shoulder. She did a complete assesment and created a treatment plan. We saw increased mobility results after just one visit. She explained what she was doing thoughout the treatment. Listing the muscle group(s), how they should function, where they were currently and the plan to get them back where they needed to be. I even scheduled myself for a few treatments. Amazing! Highly recommend!

I made an appointment with Christa after injuring my back. Her office is impeccable & she was very easy to communicate with before/during/after the appointment. During the appt, she explained everything she was doing and how it would help, and I feel much better after my first visit. I plan to make massages with her a part of my regular recovery regimen & suggest you do too. :)

Highly, highly recommend! Christa is extremely professional and very knowledgeable about her work. I mentioned a spot in my shoulder that was sore and she was able to inform me of which muscle it was that was giving me trouble as well as what could be contributing to the issue. She also gave me tips and tricks to relieve tension in my low back throughout the week. Her work space is absolutely immaculate. She has taken every precaution to keep her clientele safe during this pandemic and you can just see the pride and care she puts into her work. I feel absolutely phenomenal and can tell a world
