Services
CBCT or Cone Beam Computed Tomography is one of the many new features available to you as a patient here at Newark Dental. In only 8 seconds, and with less radiation than being outside for 2 hours, our revolutionary scanner captures 450+ images of your head and neck region. These images are quickly stitched together to allow us to have a permanent 3-D model of your airways, teeth, and bones.
My name is Donna WheelerHunt. I am raising our last teenager of the bunch. His current schedule is my current hobby and oh so enjoying these moments. This has been my 34th year in dentistry. I will say 2020 has been the year with the most changes. My experience as a certified dental assistant led me to OSU expanded function (tooth filler) school in 2003.
Our Newark dentists offer patients exceptional care in preventative, cosmetic, restorative and other dental services. In addition to combining modern procedures and techniques with state-of-the-art dental technology, our professional and caring staff will always communicate openly and honestly with you about all your available options - to ensure that your visit is less stressful and as pain-free as possible.
Newark Dental Associates uses low radiation digital dental x-rays (or radiographs) in our routine care programs as a critical diagnostic tool to check for potentially harmful conditions that are not always visible during oral examinations. In general, we recommend a full mouth series of dental x-rays for all new patients.
Newark Dental Associates encourages our patients to schedule routine exams and cleanings to prevent serious problems, such as gum disease and oral cancer, from developing and keep your teeth healthy and strong. During these check-ups, our staff examines teeth and gums for any signs of disease or decay and removes any build-up, including tartar and plaque, which has not been cleaned by regular brushing.

**Update** I received a call back from Donna, the office manager, today. She worked to correct the issue with our insurance and a refund is being provided to us.**
BEWARE! My husband had a procedure done in December of 2019. The way they billed our insurance was incorrect based on prep and seating dates. Needless to say instead of our insurance paying for it, we are. He had a root canal that was not billed separately from the permanent crown placement. They billed the entire procedure in January of 2020 resulting in the yearly maximum being met. Had they billed correctly, the procedure would have

I absolutely love the care given to me by Dr. Tyler Anderson and the rest of his staff! Everyone is so friendly and professional. Dr. Anderson and his entire office staff have gone to bat for me and my family members on insurance appeals. They are very thorough in their care and in explaining all procedures. I highly recommend Newark Dental Associates for all of your dental care.

"It truly was an easy and friendly experience having the 3D scan done. The procedure was straightforward, and nothing like I've been to in the past. No pain and I was done in a few minutes. Actually getting to talk to one of the doctors face to face was a nice touch! What was especially nice was taking a tour and meeting a few of the staff. Now, when I return I will know exactly where to go!"

I've gone to this office since I was a little girl. Even though the idea of going to the dentist really terrifies me, they always make my visits easy-going and less painful then I always make it out to be. The dental hygienists are very kind and considerate. They do their jobs well and give me easy pointers and steps to take that can really improve my dental hygiene routine. They offer good referrals of people that they trust for more in depth procedures, and can easily work with you on your insurance and payments for things such as orthodontics. I would recommend this office for children and adults

I love coming here for my dental work. When you have an appointment, there is little to no waiting to get in. They do thorough exams of your teeth and gums, using the most current technology. They let you know what they are doing, so there are no surprises. They are gentle, so there is no fear. If you've ever been afraid of a dentist, you know how important that is. The knowledge, professionalism, and friendly atmosphere keeps me coming back.

I love this office. Nice friendly and quick. I brought my entire family in and the kids loved the experience. My toddler had his first cleaning at age four and the hygentist was amazing with him. My baby was all over and they were so kind about it. The new doctors are on their game and are so gentle. I highly recommend this practice
