I'm Brooke, an intimate wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer based in the Washington Metropolitan Area. I am ALL about capturing my clients and couples for who they truly are, embracing vulnerability, celebrating life's most important moments and laughing too hard (sometimes at the wrong time but who doesn't?).

I'm an intimate wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer serving the Washington Metropolitan Area and beyond. As a photographer, I believe in intentional storytelling. It is really important to me to truly connect with my clients and meet them where they are at this point in their life journey so I can tell their story through my photos in a way that honors and celebrates them.
A lot of women don't understand the purpose behind a fine art boudoir portrait session and I get it. It is an intimidating thought to get in front of a camera in a state where you feel most vulnerable. It is hard to be able to love your body when there are so many impossible beauty standards out there making us feel critical of every inch of ourselves.

Brooke has done several shoots for my husband and I from engagement to family pictures with our dogs. She always makes us feel at ease even though we both dislike taking photos! She is professional, flexible, returns your photos on time, and is fun to talk to! Highly recommend her for your photography needs from weddings to newborn shoots!

Brooke makes you feel so comfortable. I am someone who is shy in front of the camera and she coached me through the whole experience! She is amazing to work with! She even has an eye for making any standard location or backdrop into a gorgeous scenery to really give your photos a mood! Brooke is very professional but also feels like a friend. She is timely with getting the photos edited and delivered to you in a convenient portal. You will be so excited to work with her and share the stunning photos with all your friends and family!

Brooke has photographed so many important moments in our lives - our engagement, our wedding portraits, and now our newborn! We consistently are told how great our photos are and how much they seem like “us” which I think is a testament to Brooke’s skills but also her dedication to getting to know her clients and capturing who they are. We especially appreciated her ability to work with us as we continually postponed and ultimately cancelled our larger wedding for COVID and making adjustments to still help us capture our wedding and family portraits. Working with Brooke was so easy and fun from start to finish! She was very responsive and helpful as we prepped for our mini family photo session. She was also amazing at wrangling our 2 and 5 year old kids, as well as our dog! She got some beautiful posed and candid photos, even after the kids' attention spans were long exhausted. The gallery was ready so quickly and the hardest part of everything was narrowing down our choices. 10/10 would recommend!

We did a sunset shoot with Brooke and I couldn’t be happier with our experience! She was so easy to communicate with and friendly through the entire process. We had to change our date and she was super accommodating and gave us multiple other days to choose from! Taking photos with her felt so natural and fun. Her photo return was SO fast and they were all AMAZING!! I couldn’t be happier with our family photos this year! We will definitely be having Brooke take our photos next year :)

My husband and I couldn't be happier with our photo session with Brooke. We scheduled very last minute engagement photos at sunrise (which in July is at about 5:40am...). Not only did she make us feel super comfortable and the session feel intimate yet casual, but she also made it a fun experience despite the very early timing. Our photos turned out great and we have gotten a ton of compliments from friends and family. Her photos were exactly what we wanted (a bit creative/artsy and fun) and she was very quick to respond with recommendations for hair and makeup. Would definitely recommend Brooke

Brooke is wonderful! She's so sweet and engaging and totally put us, and our dogs at ease. We wanted to get a few 'family' pictures with both dogs since our oldest isn't doing well and she was able to capture both our old guy (who is aware of nothing) and our puppy (who is overly aware of EVERYTHING) and their silly personalities. Would definitely recommend Brooke!

I LOVE BROOKE!! Brooke shot our November 2020 wedding and our engagement session a year earlier. She was just so easy to work with and made both of us feel comfortable in front of the camera immediately. She got every moment of our special day and SHE SLAYED golden hour! We could not be happier with Brooke's beautiful and tender maternity photos! Brooke was super easy to work with and had great ideas about where and when to shoot. She had great pointers and made me feel like a star even though I was feeling pretty enormous at 8.5 months pregnant! The images she captured are treasures and we will be printing pretty much all of them :) I can't recommend her enough!
