I have been a patient of DR Pedrotty for over 25 years and would go nowhere else for my healthcare. He has treated me for several skin cancer episodes that probably would have been missed by most GP doctors. His surgical removal of these cancerous growths has left almost non-detectable scars. His surgical skills are on par with even the most skilled plastic surgeon.

I have been diagnosed with major health issues for the last 25 years. Diagnosis such as chronic hypertension, weight gain, constipation etc. I have been seen by nephrologists, and other health care providers who have not helped me in anyway, except to keep me on the many prescriptions that I have been on. In January I had my first visit with Dr. John Pedrotty, he took charge of my care by simply telling me that if we did not get control of these issues I will definitely have a stroke or some other major event. That’s all it took for me to trust him, he was honest with me, and I appreciate that

Went there once and got scheduled for the follow up after blood work, I'm not sure why. Couldn't get bloodwork done due to busy personal schedule. Later on I was called by his secretary with sooooo much attitude, that it appears that I missed my appointment, that I didn't schedule. Later on collection calls for $25. Stay away from crummy unprofessional service of John Pedrotty and his rude and unprofessional stuff.

"Dr" Pedrotty shouldn't even be in practice. He has horrible bedside manner. He tried to tell me my son didn't have a speech disorder, despite the fact he's been tested at SDSU and been in therapy for years, he mocked me when I asked for a referral. At a later date he yelled at me and walked out on me when I asked for a referral to dermatology instead of using his $500+ light treatment. He stabbed my son with a needle in a procedure. I'm shocked he hasn't been sued and is still in practice. We left his office pretty quickly to find help elsewhere.

Visited Dr. Pedrotty today and I was very pleased with the service. I was able to get an appointment same day and was seen on time. Both Dr. John and his assistant Jessica were extremely pleasant and easy to talk to. My visit was primarily over an ear issue. I received treatment in house for my ear with immediate results and I was VERY pleased. Not only did they treat me for my ear issue but they also took the time to set up an annual check up and labs. I was very please with my experience and would recommend them to anyone looking for a primary care doctor.

I started looking for a new doctor when I had problems booking an appointment with my previous primary care physician. I called and someone answered!!! That was the first clue I eas getting better care. Yes driving to Coronado seemed a little further out of my way. But easy access, parking nearby and good people make it an easy choice. Nurse Jessica is helpful and easy to work with. In truth the level and quality of the care I am getting now is the best I have experienced in a long time. Thank you!

This place is amazing! Thanks to Jessica and Dr Pedrotty for their hard work and dedication to their patients! He saved my life- diverticulitis scare with abscess- called me at 8 pm told me to go straight to hospital after my CT scan showed abscess that could have ruptured and caused sepsis! The attention to detail you will get here is off the chart.

My family and I have been seeing Dr. Pedrotty for a long time now. He's been our general family doctor as far back as I can remember. He's a no nonsense kind of guys and tells it how it is, which I like about the man. I've never been here for anything cosmetic, like I said he's been mostly a family doctor to us. But for this, I could give him a good rating. Would recommend the practice if you need a good, caring family doctor.

I'm really annoyed that my review keeps getting deleted. Actually, I'm not surprised - the admin has only replied to positive reviews here, even though it's clear that I'm not the only one who's had issues with Dr. Pedrotty... I had a completely awful experience with Dr Pedrotty. He is totally unprofessional and has zero bedside manner. While I was under his care, he sexually harassed me and shamed me for breastfeeding my baby. In addition, he also prescribed an unnecessary medication that would have put my baby and me at risk. There is no way that I can recommend this

I don't write reviews very often, but I have been so impressed with the level of service from Dr. Pedrotty and his nurse Jessica that I just had to. I have never waited so much as five minutes, I am accommodated for all my appointment needs and I truly feel valued as a patient. I have never had this experience in healthcare before. Its easy to park, its a lovely location, and the care is simply excellent. It's a shame that the healthcare system doesn't take note of what running a quality practice should look like. Kudos to you Dr. Pedrotty and Jessica!

Very caring doctor. Never been here for anything cosmetic related, but he's always been my general doctor I would see given I felt something was wrong. Whenever I would come in, I had to wait at most, 5 minutes until I was seen. So I don't feel they ever overbooked or wasted anyones time which is a huge problem when it comes to doctors offices. I always feel a lot better when I would leave this practice. I think he genuinely cares about the people who come to see him. An amazing doctor that I'm happy with and would trust.

I went to John R Pedrotty for a couple of skin issues. The front office was very nice and answered all of my questions. The doctor Pedrotty that I was seen by was very nice and explained everything to me step by step. I was impressed when he actually took 20 plus minutes to show me everything on a tablet and book (something my previous doctor never bothered doing). Another thing that surprised me was that the doctor Pedrotty made it a point that if I had any questions, to call him.

Dr Pedrotty is an outstanding Doctor. His excellent service to both myself and my mother are greatly appreciated. Jessica his assistant is an outstanding LVN as well as an incredible administrator. You feel as if you are cared about and not just a number or dollar amount as each of your concerns are addressed in the utmost professional manner. It is a family-oriented practice with Dr. Pedrotty , his wife, and Jessica all who helped manage any and all situations.

I agree with other reviews, the Doc is completely unprofessional and sexually inappropriate. It began with his receptionist who was very familiar with him, combing his hair back over his head while he sat talking to me. I had asked for a referral to a dermatologist for a skin scan and he said OH we can do that right here, right now! And asked me to hold my shirt up, oh now my bra should be lifted, there's lots of skin cancers that like to hide there... I was completely taken aback. Oh no no.

The absolute worst doctor I've ever had.
Whats even worse is his office staff who happens to be the nurse.
For years I have dealt with his horrible bedside manner but after a 3 month mess up on a referral on his nurses' part and refusal to help or make sure that I received adequate care I have to switch!
Avoid this overpriced hack like the plague.
