A native of Webster, Jeff started playing with computers in his 40's after not receiving the service he wanted. He learned to repair computers himself and began helping others. Then he went on to get a degree in Computer Programming and became an A+ Certified Technician. Within a few short years, his business moved out of the garage and into its current spacious location in downtown Webster.
Thank you for your interest in remote repair & maintenance. Without even coming to your home or business, we fix your computer issues right in front of you! Remote repair and maintenance allows us to tie into your computer while on the phone with you. We fix frustration! You can even watch what we're doing on your screen.
Often times, we are able to answer your computer questions right over the phone. If you need more than a phone conversation, we offer professional computer diagnosis in our shop for desktops and laptops. When you bring your computer into Jeff's, we run a full hardware and software diagnostic for you.
We build your computer specifically to meet your needs. For example, we are building some of the lightest laptops on the market, fully loaded with wireless (Wi-Fi) cards, DVDs and the latest software. We can also network your home or office if you like. And, of course, you can always call us here at Jeff's for advice without being put on hold forever or having to speak with a customer service person in another country.

My daughter's laptop started to go funky. Her laptop was similar to her sisters and I assumed they had the same problem. I ordered a replacement battery and the job was tougher than I thought. I brought it in to Jeff's to replace the battery I'd purchased, which they were happy to do. They spotted that the motherboard has suffered fluid damage (I could barely see it it but it was there. I never would have spotted it on my own). As my daughter goes to school on the west coast, replacing the motherboard was a solid solution. It avoided a failure later on which would have been harder to remedy from

Jeff's Computer Service is the last place that you want to do business with. Jeff himself is extremely unprofessional. When you try to get answers to a problem he puts you off indefinitely. If he doesn’t like what you are telling him, he literally yells at you. In looking at his invoicing, he inflates his prices on people who don’t know any better and takes advantage of people who are coming to him for help. Stay far far away from him! As much as I hate to say it your better off going to a national chain for your tech support instead of Jeff’s. They may be expensive but at least the national

Jeff's technician Joe Detro came out to the house 2x. The first service call was to install coax and position a location for a modem and router. Joe is a top-notch service technician!
On the first service visit, Joe did some preliminary setup on a Netgear Nighthawk AC 1750 router from "Jeff's" (which seemed a bit over-priced at $149).
After I installed a Spectrum modem, I was unable to sync the router to the modem. I contacted "Jeff's," and Joe made a 2nd service call (at no charge) and got the issue corrected. Joe's service calls were the best part of doing business with Jeff's Computer Service

I tend to take negative reviews with a grain of salt and give the business the benefit of the doubt. I will update my review later based on the outcome of the current situation.
A WEEK LATER- So things started a little slow and it took me a week to get my computer back. Turns out the motherboard in my old one was no good and needed to be replaced but couldn't due to its age. Fortunately my hard drives were still good and could be transferred into a new machine along with my video card. Jeff took a lot of time to make sure I would be all set up and able to access the programs I rely on like Quickbooks

Very unprofessional! I have seen a Jeff's Computer branded car driving on the highway very erratically swerving between lanes and almost causing a accident be tween two other cars. The vehicle in question is a 2021 Chevy Trailblazer in Pacific Blue Metallic the license plate was also registered as handicapped permitted. If they act like they do on the road you definitely don't want to take your computer their.

I stopped into Jeff's looking for a small part for my computer. Staples didn't have it, Geek Squad wanted to send it away to the manufacturer for weeks. At Jeff's they fixed me up almost instantly free of charge. I'll be back for my next computer issue for sure.

Very high price slow service. When I picked up my laptop it was missing the charger. They said I never gave them one when in fact the girl at the front desk said to leave it with them. Then they took for ever to find it only it was not mine. One the rubber strips on the bottom was missing 15 minutes later the tech come out laughing found your strip it was stuck to your charger.
