Services
Most cities actively engage in long range planning efforts. However, their plans are incomplete because they fail to address the impact of divorce on our residents' social, economic, housing and other needs.
As an example, Palo Alto's strategic plan includes needs assessments in the area of safety services (ie.; police/fire protection), for youth (ie.; how many classrooms will we need), the aged (ie.; how many senior citizen units will we need built), the disabled (ie.; how can we make our street crossing zones safer), and in relation to the community's ethnic and racial makeup (ie.; what cultural services will we need).

Arbitration is a form of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR). ADR is an alternative form of resolving legal matters. It is an effective and less expensive way of keeping parties out of court. Regular judges frequently have neither the time nor the patience to hear disputes over furniture and furnishings, jewelry, pots and pans and the like.
Private judging is becoming more common as funding for courts is cut and courtrooms are closed. These budgetary actions are increasing the delays in having cases heard in court. Private Judges are more accessible than are regular judges. A Private Judge can resolve cases with less delay and expense than occurs through the court system.

Update
If there is a chink in Jeff's armor it's the fact that he is a gentleman amongst low life Lawer's and scoundrels
He daily battles the good fight while his opponents do nothing more than smear & scandalize his clients to try to break them down and muddy the waters
However Jeff is always there like a good father figure to assure his client that He has seen this before
" they're just making noise "
He however is assisting to rebuild a new and better life for His clients

A trusted friend highly recommended Blum, and I was not disappointed. I was immediately impressed by the clarity with which he remembered my friend's case even after nearly two decades had passed. While my situation was quite stressful for me, Blum's expert legal assistance was a reassuring and calming force. He explained things clearly and plainly. He did things in a quick and timely manner, but exercised great patience when required. Most of all, I liked that he was very fair and ethical.

Jeff has been my attorney for over six years. He's been a steady and steadying presence for the entire time, handling my divorce with reasonability and great attention to detail, and always making sure that the case was conducted with solid backing from the law. There's been a lot of crap during my divorce; it's come off so well because of Jeff's capable support.
