Update**
The Campbell lane branch manager Paul was great when my husband went into the branch yesterday. I am not blaming any staff, I believe this is a system issue. All staff has been very kind but I am not holding my breath with this potential system issue. Paul and Scott the loan manager have both reached out and have been great and I am very thankful for their help and responsiveness. This gives me a lot of my confidence in this credit union, back to what it was when I first became a member.

I had by far my worse customer experience at service one since being an account holder. So bad that I just decided to close my account and look elsewhere.
My and my girlfriend were trying to get a loan to consolidate some of our credit card debt. Everything was running rather smoothly until Carol Woosley decided to ignore 4 emails and a missed call. It took me driving down from Louisville and calling Miss Woosley again before I ever heard anything back from her. To top the cake once I did drive down from Louisville and visited the campus location Angela Crabtree was not anymore more helpful and

I have always appreciated SOCU but most recently they have been a calm in the storm of indifference displayed by big banks. Like many of us— I’ve had repeated fraudulent charges and the people at the credit union were patient and professional in helping me sort through the items and fix the problems
Cannot say that for the people at CHASE. They push everything back on the customer and could not care less. But service one is great !

Taking my banking elsewhere. IMO SOCU is doing exactly what Wells Fargo did, they stack up any charges you have with your card, making the largest charge go through first so they can charge overdraft charges on everything else. At best, this is bad business practice, at worst it is a cash grab on everyone who has to live paycheck to paycheck.

I’m leaving this banking and in the process of moving to a new bank!!! When I first got my account with SOCU they were amazing!!! But apparently they have changed systems and you now get charged on the “swipe” so if you wake up and see something hit your account overnight and go deposit cash to cover it, it doesn’t matter they are going to charge you anyway even if it’s still pending!!!! Most banks will give you 24 hours they don’t do that!!!

I withdrew all my money and closed my account several years ago because I moved. Then they slapped a $6 service fee charge on it after the fact and never told me about it. They sent me to collections over a $6 hidden fee!!! I tried to dispute it but they won't relent. Terrible bank and ethics. If they would intentionally damage someone's credit over a bogus $6 fee then that tells you all you need to know about how much they care for their members. Look anywhere else for your banking needs.

Awful. The manager on Wednesday told me to come back on Saturday to get assistance with my mother's account, as she is deceased. He said the manager would be prepared to assist me. He lied. She was not prepared as he only notified her about me coming up via an email she did not read. In regard to the account she said to call during the week to talk to the previous manager as this was not her branch and in regard to savings bonds, I needed to go to US Bank or do it online maybe. Unprofessional. I waited 30 minutes for this statement. Consider another Credit Union because they do not care.

I have been using this financial institution for over 15 years and have never once had a problem. The staff is sooooo nice, polite, and helpful. They have great rates on loans. There are no secret fees or charges that will surprise you, plus it's not a bank-it's a non-profit organization which makes me feel more comfortable about the whole banking process. You can also do everything online which is very convenient and they are "green", which I love anything that helps the environment. They know me by name when I come in, kind of like a family atmosphere. I LOVE MY CREDIT UNION!!!
