
For over 20 years, Patty has been practicing Therapeutic, Sports, and Relaxation Massage. While the Labrie Wellness Center focuses on Myofascial Release and Postural Balance for chronic pain problems, each patient is treated as an individual, and their needs are met accordingly. Although fascia in not commonly talked about, it is frequently a major factor in injuries, holding patterns, and chronic pain.
Myofascial Release is a highly effective technique that releases fascial restrictions as well as muscle tightness. It is a slow unwinding of tissue to help bring nourishment to the affected area for better healing. Postural Balance is reinforced therapeutic stretching, breath, and body awareness. Simple postural exercises are suggested to help maintain the integral structure of the body.
