Dr. Cito was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Dr. Cito is married and has three grown children. He attended the University of New Mexico, where he graduated and decided to attend dental school. He went to dental school at the University of Missouri at Kansas City. During these four years of dental school, Dr. Cito decided to specialize in pediatric dentistry.
Dr. Cito and Dr. Mike along, with our team, are expertly trained and certified to treat our patients with complex medical histories as well as patients with special needs. We can offer specialized care for patients that might require a more intimate dental experience. Regular dental cleanings and exams can be an uneasy time for our patients but also for the patient's family or caregiver.
At Albuquerque Pediatric Dental Associates we see patients age one and up, although we have seen younger patients if the need arises. My 5 year old daughter needed some dental 0 hospital that was gonna be done by Stephen Cito. At the last minute my daughter was crying because she was scared, so I told the nurse that I think it was Best to cancel everything that I am sorry for wasting there time. So we were waiting to see if I need to sign any paperwork saying I was cancelling the… dental procedure. Dr. Cito and his staff have been the absolute best! I am always nervous taking my sons to the dentist, but Dr. Cito and his amazing staff always are so kind, gentle, attentive, and comforting. Dr. Cito has a way with young children and has been the absolute best with both my toddlers, Milo and Max!!! I cannot sing their praises enough!!!! Definitely the place for kiddos if you’re looking for great bedside manner and a wealth of knowledge and professionalism!

The staff is so nice and have been nothing but good to my daughter but I have been completely disappointed by the work the the dentist that she has received she had to get crowns and put to sleep at 3 years old that very day one cap fell off she has to go in the next day when she was extremely sore to have it shoved back on she cried and was very traumatized from this point Forward I feel her teeth were shaved down way to much because not only one but two of her caps have broke to where the root of both teeth stayed in the gum and she needs to be put to sleep 3 times already for baby teeth my daughter

Dr. Cito and his staff are amazing. My children are now 17 and 14. They have had the best experience in the last 11 years from this office. Shawna cleaned both my kids teeth the last visit. They always recognize them and have seen them grow up. Dr. Cito is beyond professional. We just love this dentist office.

The staff is amazing and very good with my kids. I have an autistic teen who has had the worst experiences with dental offices until we started coming here. Selena is AMAZING with my boys, she makes them feel so comfortable and explains what she is doing as she goes. Both Dr. Stephen and Dr. Mike Cito are both AMAZING also, everyone here is very nice and professional. My kids love coming to the dentist. Thank you guys for being so great.

Our kids love their dentist! They can't wait to go and have their teeth checked and cleaned. The entire team is friendly and patient and incredibly accommodating. It has always been easy to schedule and reschedule if necessary, and they do their best to get you in and out as quickly as possible. It is a true family practice, and they do a wonderful job taking care of the kids! I would highly recommend them to any of our family and friends!

I have had the best experience with Dr. Mike! I had an emergency with my daughter and we showed up after hours. The staff were so sweet to me and my daughter. Not one person acted like they didn't want us to be there. I felt so welcomed. The care that I received from Dr. Mike was AWESOME! He not only fixed tooth (which was half off) He actually called me the next day to see how she was doing. Can you imagine that somebody in Albuquerque would go to such great lengths? I have told every friend and neighbor that he is THE BEST! My husband took bagels and coffee the next morning to show our thanks
