Services
For nearly every culture in history the table is known as a place of connection. A place to gather, share, and grow. That's why the table represents my company. My table is a place where anyone with trauma can find connection, compassion, and healing. The meals served here are filling, yet not always made with food.
I serve those with complex trauma to help them discover new navigational coping tools and empower them to be an active participant in their story of recovery. Our bodies are faithful partners carrying the load life presents us regardless of difficulty or joy. I believe each one of us already possesses the intrinsic knowledge and capability to heal even the most devastating of wounds within us.
Movement can be a powerful tool in the recovery process to help those suffering from traumatic experiences and to reconnect with their body. Incorporating evidence-based Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY), this program can foster empowering experiences and healing for those who have suffered early life traumatic experiences, relational trauma, and/or emotional, sexual, and physical abuse.
Things like external noise from past life experiences, work stress, family life and even my own expectations of myself kept me focused outwardly while the inner me was left neglected. I was so far removed from myself and started to question, There must be more to life than the same day on repeat, right?' That's when I stopped everything and went on a quest to reconnect and understand myself.
It's been said that all you need is love. It can be your companion through the darkest night and celebrate when the first rays begin to shine. Love is a practice that's not just a connection with people close to you, but also with yourself and even those who my have done you wrong. Before you can freely give love you need to nurture your own self-love.
