West River Valley RSWMD and Green Source Recycling are committed to solid waste management and recycling solutions. Our nine county district headquarters is located in Clarksville, AR in the county of Johnson. Our companies provide over 40 jobs to the River Valley. Services
West River Valley Solid Waste District serves nine counties, including Conway, Crawford, Franklin, Johnson, Logan, Perry, Pope, Scott, and Yell. We are one of eighteen Solid Waste Districts in the state of Arkansas. Our district serves over 260,000 residents and over 80 cities and towns. We have recycling drop off locations in nearly 20 of our cities, with plans to expand.
Green Source, a division of the West River Valley Regional Solid Waste Management District, offers a host of recycling services for businesses that generate large volumes of recyclable materials. By providing free technical recycling assistance, we help businesses and organizations of all sizes to reduce their waste-disposal costs.
Pursuant to its authority, the Board of Directors adopts "at-will" employment as the default employment policy for each District employee. At will employment is not for a specific period of time and employment may be terminated at any time, without notice or liability of any kind (except for wages earned and unpaid) and with or without cause.
