There's also a spare twin bed in one of the Master Suites, making the Main Villa perfect for parties of up to 4 adults and 1 child. Need accommodations for a larger group? Don't worry - we have 2 optional bungalows, each with air conditioning, a king-size bed and private bathroom, that can be rented along with the Main Villa to accommodate groups of up to 9 people.

Casa de Oro is a welcoming oasis at the end of Play Troncones. In its prime secluded location next to a protected wildlife sanctuary & lagoon, you will truly feel like you are escaping the modern world and re-discovering yourself in the middle of paradise. We built Casa de Oro 10 years ago, and recently gave its paint and details a facelift.
The Villa at Casa de Oro is 5000 square feet - add this to the fact that the entire communal area is an open-air layout and you will feel like you are in a palatial estate. The large kitchen has a breakfast bar and all of the cooking supplies you might need to feed your party. Basic pantry staples such as olive oil, salt & pepper, sugar, balsamic vinegar and coffee filters.
The Casa is beautifully laid out with amazing artwork! Everything is comfortable and the pool is large. The delicious restaurants footsteps away and numerous beach activities kept our family busy for the week! I honestly had no complaints except that we had to leave this oasis. This place will make you feel like a king and I highly recommend it!
Toncones is a quaint village with a population of about 300 located on the edge of the Pacific Ocean, just about 20 miles north of Zihuatanejo. Being a small beach town, its home to plenty of sunrises, sunsets and plenty of hammocks to hang in. Thanks to a new highway, Casa de Oro is an easy 35 minute drive from the international airport (ZIH).
Taxi service is also available. The cost of your transport from the airport to Casa de Oro in Troncones should be confirmed at the taxi stand inside the airport to ensure the standard price. We recommend renting your own transportation.
This will give you the most freedom to explore the area and will also allow you to stop at La Comercial Mexicana, the primary grocery store in Zihuatanejo, as well as the central mercado, a traditional farmers market, before you drive to the villa.You will be flying into the Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo International Airport.
