As a Wood Dale Chiropractor my goal is to provide a systematic, patient-centered approach to understanding the underlying web of physiological factors and effects that influence health and the progression of disease. Simply put, that means that at DuPage Neurology & Wellness Center we do not treat symptoms.

In the majority of cases the chief complaint is nothing more than an indication that another system is not operating properly. For instance, using one of the examples below: high cholesterol. Low testosterone is becoming quite popular. There are commercials on TV with catchy phrases such as "Low T." Maybe you were able to lose weight, but it comes right back? You are not alone. Millions of Americans suffer from varying degrees of obesity.
Treating hypothyroidism, or controlling hypothyroidism, is not as straightforward as you might think. More than 27 million Americans suffer from thyroid dysfunction, half of which go undiagnosed. Part of the reason that so many go undiagnosed is because traditionally doctors only look at one lab value (TSH) to determine thyroid health (due to cost, insurance restrictions, etc).
