In 2021, L P Aero Plastics will be exhibiting at the trade shows listed below. Stop at our booth to get a quote with Show Special Pricing! We will have the latest product info including our UV-blocking product line. Our knowledgeable staff can answer your questions on installations, STC's, proper cleaning of acrylic windows and finding the right window for your aircraft.
Our line of STC windshields with increased thickness offer greater impact resistance and a quieter cabin. Choose one of UV versions and also gain a cooler, and safer, interior both for you and your expensive avionics, leathers, vinyls, etc. Like our factory replacements, our STC windshields are available in Clear, Green, and Standard Gray tints.
You can keep your aircraft windshield and windows looking and performing like new by using the proper care products and techniques, and by understanding a little about the material you are working with. First, most aircraft windows are acrylic plastic (as opposed to "Lexan" or polycarbonate), and acrylic plastic is scratchable.
You will risk cracking and chipping the material. These bits will pull into the material and will bind as they exit, cracking and chipping. Successful holes have been drilled with a standard bit, but the risk is extremely high. LP Aero Plastics Acrylic Drill Bits have been reground to have a 0 degree rake on the cutting edges.

Our shop has dealt with LP Aero Plastics for years, installing windows and windshields in a variety of different makes and models. The product quality and fit were always satisfactory, requiring very little trimming.

I recently had an experience with a replacement window for a Bellanca 17-31 ATC. The initial fabrication was problematic. LP Plastics subsequently provided a replication of the original window. with an end product was precise in every way.
During the process, LP Plastics proved to be courteous, knowledgeable, and efficient in every way.
How could one ask for more?

I purchased new windows for my C-152. When they arrived the windshield was cracked. LP asked if I had inspected the windows while the driver was present. I had not as they were left in my driveway. The only thing LP would do was send me another windshield at almost the same cost as the first one. This is the last time I do business with them and do not recommend them because of this.
