I'm Diane Knothe, a lifelong resident of La Crosse, Wisconsin. As a professional photographer for over a decade, I have specialized in natural light portrait studies celebrating Coulee Region students and families with portraits taken in the beautiful surroundings of the Driftless Region. I believe photographs are precious gifts.

It's always a good time to make family memories with portraits. We'll choose your location, your time of year, and your favorite activities in your special place making photo memories you'll love forever. Creating the mood that let's your children's personalities shine through in photos is one of the best parts of my job - it's hard to believe it's actually a 'job', I enjoy it so much.
It's been over a decade since I became a professional photographer. It's been an exciting journey - I've met such amazing people, learned so much about the art of portraiture and the science of photography. Oh, how time has flown! Since my first wedding shoot, I have been dedicated to the goal of capturing my clients as they are, with all of their personality and inner beauty shining through their portraits.
I specialize in portrait sessions for high school seniors, families and children, and selective small intimate celebrations as well as professional/business portraits of individuals and teams (headshots and personal branding sessions). These are some of my favorite portrait sessions. Approaching high school graduation and all of the changes it will bring is challenging and exciting for parents and students. It is important to me that senior sessions are relaxed and fun and that the images we create show every subject in a way that expresses all of their beauty and potential.
Children grow so fast. They change in an instant and it seems as if years go by in the blink of an eye. We think we'll remember those chubby cheeks, the cherubic smiles, the way they hold hands with you and even the furrowed brow and scrunched up faces when they melt into tears. What better way to ensure those memories stay permanently etched in the family lore than to document the stages of family growth and change in photographs.
