Brought my 2017 Chevy SS to Tim and the guys on short notice with a check engine light and tuning issue. They corrected my problems and put the car across the dyno in a matter of hours. I cannot sing the praises loud enough for Tim and his guys, an absolutely phenomenal experience for me. If I could give them 6 stars I absolutely would. Tim was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The dealership couldn't find out what was causing the evap leak so I took my car here and after a while and not giving up on my car like the the dealership did, Tim found the issue and fixed it. Im extremely thankful for Tim and will come back in the future.

I got to San Antonio about a month ago and have never had any real performance modifications done to my 2015 GT Mustang nor have I ever had a mechanic that worked on her. I had purchased a 93 Octane tune and a JLT CA intake for my first mods, I was worried because I put all my trust into mechanics I have never met. Needless to say, I’m glad it was these guys! Tim helped me understand the process and didn’t take advantage of my ignorance or charge me unnecessarily. I won’t be here much longer but I’m glad to have had met Tim and his team. I might not be a regular but if I’m ever around

First off, Tim is a nice guy and very knowledgeable about what he does in general. Unfortunately, their work created a rattling issue with my Vette after bringing it in for a LT header install and Dyno tune. After multiple return trips to try and get the issue fixed, they just threw their hands in the air and told me to come pick up my car without fixing the rattle. This is after throwing almost an additional $2K in parts and labor to fix the issue. Given, it's a rattle - so not groundbreaking and my car is drivable....but annoying as hell. I'm sure him and his team are great with Mustangs, but

It saddens me to have to revise this review but my latest experience here has since changed. I swung by the shop on a weekend to potentially setup an appointment to have my Aeroforce gauge looked at since the gauge has been acting up in my 03 Cobra. It powers on but doesn’t give out readings anymore. It hasn’t been the same since the installation years ago. He offered to take a quick look at it Friday for me as well as some quick solutions I could try. We also spoke about potential gauges I can add in my car and found him to be very knowledgeable on the subject and

I had my car dropped off here years ago because for the life of me I could not get it started and I’d never not been able to start a dead car. So I took it to Maximum Velocity and after looking at it the owner told me the motor was hurt with a couple of the cylinder heads shot. He started throwing around engine replacement recommendations like he was talking about gaskets and filters. The fixes he was suggesting were pretty much worth more than that car. I told him I would just have the car picked up.

To be completely candid, Tim and his staff treated my Shelby GT500 like it was their own. Started problem solving from the little things working their way till found problem. They have earned my trust and respect and returning back next week to had more HP to my “Bad Mnky”. Great work at a reasonable price! DLB
