I only do a few inspections per week and will try to accommodate your schedule - even on short notice. Plus, you get me from start to finish on EVERY inspection - no subs or inexperienced employees!
Testing is the only way to know the radon level of a home. It typically takes years of exposure before any problems surface. One in 3 homes in the state of Utah test above the EPA action guideline limit. Most short-term radon tests are completed in 48-96 hours using a radon monitor placed in the home for 48 hours continually.
A: Our standard home inspection is an objective, detailed inspection of your home's visible structural elements and accessible systems, from the roof to the foundation. I've known Brigham, of Be Aware Home Inspections, for many years - long before he began home inspecting. Since he has begun, I have gleaned a lot of wisdom from little points he'll share with me and others about things that go wrong in homes. Just recently he let me know about how outdoor spigots freeze and what to do to winter proof them. More important, he let me know what kind of damage it can do to your home. It's crazy scary. Brigham is a very conscientious person and will be respectful of you, your home, and your belongings.
