Came in for Brunch. Menu was quit unique.
Didn't realize this is more of a Hipster type of place. Wasn't the best Monte Cristo. (I miss Bennigans) They smear AppleButter on the sandwich. Was to mushy to pick up and eat by hand. Had to eat with fork. Service is below Average. Had to look for Wait staff to get refills. Over priced for mediocre food.

You can’t tell from the outside, but this is a very unique deli - lots of German fare, incredible house-smoked pastrami, great German potato salad, etc. There aren’t many German restaurants in Tulsa (or Oklahoma), and I’m really glad I found this one!

Went for Christmas dinner. There was a limited menu, but something for everyone in our party of 5! The service was excellent! The facility was full but not packed. It was very comfortable, especially with the heightened covid concerns. The food was AMAZING! It was a memorable experience we will definitely repeat!
We also check out the full menu too! Food was delicious and service was above expectations! We highly recommend!!!

Their pastrami bites for an appetizer was absolutely delicious and unexpected. They have a delicious Aperol spritz holiday crafted cocktail. The Godfather sandwich and the build your own Poutine were on point. Our family will be back here often, keep up the amazing work guys.

Ummm…hell yes. I’ve had this bookmarked for awhile, and I finally made it! I stopped in for lunch, and I was not disappointed. The service was stellar and attentive. The menu has so many options, but I opted for Lieutenant Kraut with chips and the cup of matzo chicken soup. The food came out timely and crazy delicious!

We stopped here for brunch upon arrival in Tulsa. The menu had some very creative options. It was a busy Sunday so we sat at the bar. It was an okay experience but a bit underwhelming. We waited for a long time to get the food without anyone really checking on us. We ordered the chicken schnitzel omelette and the pastrami latkes. When the food finally arrived it was just okay. It just felt heavy. The latkes were more the fried mashed potatoes. We could probably find a better place for lunch in Tulsa, but it hit the spot once we did get served.

I reaallyyyy wanted to like this place, and to be fair the food was pretty good, but the service was the worst. I give 3.5 stars for the food and 2.5 stars for the service, averaging at 3 stars. I can honestly say this was the absolute slowest service we have ever received at a restaurant. It took us 3 hours to go from sitting down to getting our bill back, and the service inbetween that time was expectedly slow and pitiful - wrong parts of the orders were delivered, hard to get attention of servers, etc.

The beer and adequate food was its saving grace, and since service can vary so much day

We are traveling in our RV and have landed in Tulsa for a needed surgery. Making a Turkey in an RV isn't easy so we decided to order our Thanksgiving dinner.
We've noticed that in the Midwest, the food is bland and poorly seasoned. Jane'sDelicatessen continued that trend.
Turkey: it was moist and somewhat flavorful but the serving was small. C+
Mashed Potatoes: Can you say smashed and just poorly seasoned ? I was saddened that I wasted so much of my butter trying to make them better. D
Yams: i am not a huge fan of the yam with more sweetener but these weren't bad. B

After I saw a write-up in the Tulsa World, I was keen to try this place. Supposedly they have pies, but there were none on the menu, nor any for sale at late lunch on a Tuesday. And the food was disappointing. We had a Reuben, which was just ok; the meat was good, but the bread was sweet and a little stale. Not very exciting. We tried the latkes, which tasted quite strongly of onion powder and salt, and resembled falafel, not the scrumptious potato pancakes I was expecting. The Matzo ball soup was terrible. The broth tasted dull and watery, the chicken had a funky, old, flavor, and contained

I loved the variety of menu options. The food itself tasted amazing. Their esthetic is unique from your typical brunch restaurant. They have a great cocktail/winw/beer menu. As for coffee they just have your classic black coffee. They do have a bakery section as well. Last but not least the wait was the only complaint I had. Our food also took longer than normal, but they did offer a delicious appetizer to make up for it. If you're going to eat here, you have to be okay with the wait time of the staff (although they provided great service) and food preparation. However seating was quick. I

We went for brunch on a Sunday morning recently. The waitress wasn't exactly enthusiastic and very hard to understand, but everyone else was very friendly and helpful.
The breakfast poutine was delicious as was the Reuben style breakfast sandwich.
The manager (?) was all too happy answering our questions about their curing processes.
The cinnamon roll was an unreal size. Basically the size of a hubcap lol.
Definitely will be back.

Cinnamon rolls that make up in size what they lack in flavor. The cinnamon roll I got from here was an embarrassment. A good cinnamon roll has only a few critical jobs: taste like cinnamon and be tender (whether dense or fluffy). Jane's cinnamon roll was huge and had next to no cinnamon flavor, but even worse was the dry, leathery, and crumbly (!) texture. The ratio of bread to filling was bizarre. Only two whorls of two-inch thick ropy bread, more like a coiled loaf of un-sweetened bread than a roll. It wasn't even moist in the very center! Attached photo is of me pounding on the thing

Poor online order experience. Online took over 4 minutes to "be accepted" we decided to drive here for the amount of time it was taking. Items available on their website were not available for lunch since they are entrees which was not posted during this process. Floors were gross with piles of crumbs everywhere like they haven't been swept for a couple of days. Booths also have crumbs and have not been cleaned. Service was slow and the server started walking away from us while we were trying to order. Food was mediocre and the bread was soggy. Will not be coming back.

Good food. The flavors were great.
This was our first visit at this restuarant. We went on Labor Day for lunch. There was not enough staff working. We waited about an hour for our food. Hopefully, it was just an off day.
We will try this restuarant, again.
My husband had the Smoked Turkey Sandwich with homemade chips.
I had the Veggie Burger (garbanzo beans and beets) with french fries.
I had the aioli on the side. I don't like mayo. Next time I will request mustard.
My husband took my fries. He said, they were fantastic!

Horrible experience for lunch; wait staff couldn't be bothered, food was overpriced, Spinach salad with grilled chicken was drenched in dressing. $45 for two salads. Wasted a hungry.

We arrived from Denver for a business lunch with a friend and what a disappointment. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

The pickle board is a must! I only wish they served it with toast or crackers to balance out the tart/sweetness. This place is a beautiful addition to the Kendall Whittier District. I enjoyed all my stops while in town for a Main Street conference.

We went here based on high recommendations from friends in town (we are just visiting for the weekend). It was a short walk from the location of the wedding we were in so it made sense to try it out and sounded good at the time! As a brief overview- this was the SLOWEST service I've ever had at a restaurant, and they weren't even packed full. We walked over and it too about 10-15 min for us to get seated. Not a big deal, we finally got seated and waited for the other two members of our party to arrive before ordering. We took a few more minutes to order food (some of us ordered drinks

Check this place out. The menu is packed with Jewish comfort foods with a gastro pub vibe. there's a bakery with pies and a deli for cold cuts and deli salads.

The shakshuka I had was tasty, and I'll be back to try a few other things that caught my eye on the menu.

The menu is incredible and most everything scratch made. The mortadella is imported from Italy. Four of us ordered the lunch special with half a sandwich and either soup or salad it took a little over an hour to get the sandwiches which we felt was an extremely long time considering there were only around eight tables occupied. I ordered the mortadella sandwich the big chutney was incredible but there was so much mayonnaise it overpowered the rest. I will definitely give it another visit as two of my dining guests thought it was the best sandwich they had ever had and the third thought their chicken

Great brunch at Janes this morning! I just love the atmosphere and food was fantastic. I got a veggie omelet that wasn't greasy and the latkes on the side were so much better than standard breakfast potatoes. Love the chill vibe here and welcoming staff. Get a mimosa for only $3... can't beat that!

Wow! What a fantastic place to have brunch or dinner. A menu that has something for the adventurous eater or the meat and potatoes eater. They also have a large selection of vegetarian options. I have been every weekend for six weeks and have tried something new each visit. Everything is delicious and worth ordering again. The staff is fantastic, if a little green, and hosted a brunch party of twelve with ease back in May. A great place to have in midtown.

Sometimes you walk in to a place and you know that you are home...Jane's is one of those places. Jane herself wiped down our table, as they were packed and I found that very accommodating. Jane's partner kept us entertained and even made me a Mocktail, since I don't drink. The food was fabulous and the menu is not run of the mill. A true gem in a gem of a town.

I was absolutely blown away by this local gem! The staff and atmosphere are spot on. The menu has options to please everyone yet each item brings a new level of class and demonstrates culinary skill. The food is absolutely outstanding! From brunch to lunch we have not had a dish we were not impressed with! Its high end without being unreasonable. An absolute must try

Found this spot in an article of "best of" Tulsa -- and would have to agree with the review!

We enjoyed the chicken salad sandwich and the French dip. The server was incredibly warm and attentive. The space is industrial-chic. Comfortable and pretty darn delicious. Way to go Tulsa!

First, I want to apologize for the bad pictures. This review is a take out review (during COVID-19), so the pics are not that good. However, that's the only bad thing about this review because the food was fantastic. Here's the rundown:

Lieutenant Kraut: homemade pastrami... yes please! Homemade sauerkraut... yum! With other fixins on a Siegi's sausage... ok, you had me at the pastrami, but all together this might be one of the best sausage style sandwiches I've ever had!!!

Poutine: I grew up an hour from Canada, so poutine is not new to me, but to find it done well in Oklahoma
