Pleasant Mount Welding, Inc. was established in 1983 to serve the Fabricated Metals Market. After a short period, we realized that the metal fabrication industry seemed to include a poor reputation for service. Customers received late deliveries, workmanship was inconsistent, and there appeared to be problems with customer service.
Pleasant Mount Welding, Inc.'s aluminum covers are an attractive and structurally sound alternative to traditional aluminum diamond plate cover systems. Utilizing custom extrusions, we can create either fixed panel cover systems or hinged panel cover systems for many different applications. We create innovative aluminum cover systems that offer cost-effective, long term solutions for architectural, municipal, and industrial storage applications.
Swage Locked I-Bar Grating is one of our most popular grating products. The I-Bar shaped bearing bars provide equal strength to rectangular bar grating of equal depth, but at a lighter weight and lower cost. The I-Bar shaped bearing bars are available in 7 different depths ranging from 1" to 2-1/2".
Aluminum Heavy Duty Plank Grating is a structurally sound and attractive alternative to regular bar grating. It is made in 6 wide sections of extruded aluminum up to 26' long. PMWI Aluminum Plank Grating has a built in chamfer on the bottom side of the plank that allows multiple sections to be easily welded together to form required panel sizes.
Many grating platforms and walkway applications require stairways to access the various elevations. PMWI offers aluminum stair tread profiles in all of our aluminum grating types: Swage Locked I-Bar, Swage Locked Rectangular Bar, Pressure Locked Dovetail, and Plank Grating to match our grating products.
