Parents looking for preschool services in the Concord/Clayton area can find them at the newly opened center at St. John's Episcopal Church on Clayton Road. The school is currently offering tours and accepting applicants. St. John's is thrilled to offer childcare services as a key part of our outreach to the community, Early learning and socialization are key to successful children and stable families.
The new facility is a play-based preschool, licensed to care for 58 children, aged two years to kindergarten entry. In addition, children still in diapers are welcome and we will assist in potty training. The preschool curriculum features the Learning Without Tears and First 5 Literacy programs, along with weekly Chapel and emphasis on social and emotional development.

I would like to take a moment to introduce myself and tell you a little about me. My name is Tonya Dean and I am very excited to be working here at St John's Preschool. I have over 25 years of teaching experience and working with young children and their families. I have earned an Early Childhood Development Certificate from Los Medanos College.
We are excited that you are interested in our preschool. Enrollment and Classroom Placement is determined by the following factors: age, individual readiness and space availability. 2. Meet with us to go over application - a non-refundable enrollment fee of $100 is required at this time. 3. Schedule a 30 minute visit for your child.
