Galena Reservations currently manages over 30 properties in our vacation rental program. We have been in business as a family run company serving the needs of the Galena area since 1999 and were originally established as A+ Reservations by Dixie. Since then we have gained a wealth of experience in dealing with vacation homes and assisting owners with respect to both management and rentals.

We have rented through Galena Reservations as well as now owning a property that they manage.
We are so blessed to have found this company.
The owner is on top of everything and unbelievably accessible. The process is SO much easier than using a large, bureaucratic company like Eagle Ridge, that has a bunch of red tape and hidden fees. The process with Galena Reservations is simple, straightforward, compliant with all regulations, and very fair with rates and commissions.

My husband and I stayed in a townhouse at Eagle Ridge for spring break. We wanted a nice place because we knew we'd be spending a lot of time there due to Covid restrictions. We were very disappointed. The following is a list of issues we encountered.
-Mouse droppings under the kitchen sink
-Broken cupboard under the kitchen sink
-Damp laundry in the dryer
-Broken screen patio door
-Loose mantle
-Loose stair riser
-No working landlines (this was particularly concerning because we had no cell service)
-Visible rodent trap (this was an issue because we have a dog)

It doesn't really take much to make me happy...and on a weekend getaway, I'm only really looking for 4 things. I want to sleep in, I want a hot cup of coffee in the morning, and I want to be able to watch TV during down time, and blow dry my hair after a shower. Renting this golf villa, I was hardly able to do any of that.
