Born and raised on the Big Island of Hawai'i, the founder of Haku Lei Spa grew up immersed in the culture of the Hawaiian Islands. The word "Aloha" is the way to say "hello" and "goodbye" in Hawai'i, but it means so much more. With the use of a variety of peeling agents, such as glycolic, salicylic, lactic, TCA, mendelic and other ingredients, a peel will slough off the dead skin cells, in turn activating the dermis, which will create new, healthy cells. There are various depths and intensities of treatments, and your esthetician will work with you to determine the best plan for your skin.
