Client requirements - The design of a custom home begins with gathering the appropriate information about the client's needs. The whole concept of a custom home means that each one is personal.
Pricing for construction documents (plans) is based on square footage of above grade living space, including bonus rooms. Prices do not include any required engineering fees, including but not limited to structural, civil, geotechnical, mechanical, and electrical. Auxiliary buildings such as detached garages, pool houses, gazebos, etc. are subject to additional charges.

I guess it's true that "the squeaky wheel gets the grease." We started the process more than 4 months ago, and have had to push and urge any time something needed to move along. In our initial meeting, Steve didn't seem interested in anything we had to say, but rather, thought he was clever with his stories and anecdotes. We honestly minimized our design requests because he wasn't paying attention to us, and the meeting dragged without getting anything accomplished.

Inouye Design is Utah's top residential design company. I was impressed when I walked through a number of the houses they designed in the Parade of Homes. I found one of their stock plans that was 70% of what I wanted and worked with Noah and Tyson to make it 100% what I wanted. The whole process was so easy, professional and thorough, it was actually... fun! They listened to all my ideas and found ways to bring them to life even better than I had envisioned. They like being challenged. I think they are the best residential home designers in Utah period. Overall it has been a great experience.

Did not show up to appointment. No phone call or email explaining the reason. I then decided to try and get a hold of someone at the office. After multiple attempts and an hour after the original appointment, I was finally able to get a response. Apparently, the designer was out of town and they were unaware of the appointment. I then received a response that they would not be taking us on as a client because we were out of Utah County. Please be cautious with this company and ensure that 1. You live in Utah County and 2. If you have an appointment that you call them and verify multiple times.
