Since 1953, Acme Ceramic Tile Company has been family owned and operated while serving Maryland, Delaware, Northern Virginia, and the District of Columbia. Danny and Julie Winn obtained ownership of Acme Ceramic Tile Company in 1987, succeeding his parents, Dan and Carmela Winn. Danny and Julie moved the business to the Eastern Shore of Maryland in 2004 and have continued to satisfy both residential and commercial clients.
In 2020, the company expanded and now offers TWO locations. Acme now serves Maryland's Mid-Shore with a designer showroom in Cambridge, MD, and the Eastern Shore with a designer showroom in Salisbury, MD. Both locations have stocked sundries and systems for homeowners and contractors. We get weekly deliveries so we can quickly acquire anything you may want that isn't in stock.

Schluter Systems's integrated family of products will bond together to form a waterproof system to successfully control moisture. Schluter Systems carry products to create heated floors, waterproofing systems, and trims and transitions in variety of colors, profiles, and finishes. We carry most Schluter Systems products in our showrooms and are able to order products we do not have in stock.
We welcome you to bring your clients into one of our two designer showrooms. Unlike big box stores, our goal is to make your job easier- we will work with your client throughout the tile selection and design process so that you don't have to! Not only do we offer contractor discounts, we also offer educational seminars on industry leading products and systems.

What a fantastic job! Most professional people we have encountered in years! Absolutely on top of everything from communicating, timelines, to a wonderfully completed job. Our house is from 1950. They put in a wonderful new shower for us ! We are incredibly pleased. Acme was able to keep the flavor of our older home while making us a clean and comfortable look. These folks are a joy to work with!

If you want a failed install that destroys your home with water and mold, these are your guys! When the issue was brought to their attention the owner, Danny, couldn’t have cared less. Tried to blame it on anyone he could think of, but the manufacturer of his waterproofing product said it was clearly an improper installation of the shower itself. This is NOT a company that cares about their customers or the results of their work. Buyer beware.
