At the age of 15, I left my home in search of a better life. I left behind a family, overrun by abuse and addiction of every kind, along with the other dark attributes that make up a dysfunctional family. As I am sure you already know, I was unwittingly being trained by both the environment and the people around me to continue the unhealthy cycle and pass it on to my future family.
I knew, as any true seeker knows, that if I wanted something truly great for myself & my future family, I would have to be willing to let go of what I was and seek out who I was meant to be. This decision or Crossing of the Rubicon, was the catalyst for many highs and lows in my life. More specifically, it was the fuel that burned in my motor pushing me through some very dark and trying times.

The problem is, we have forgotten how to think because we have allowed others to do that for us.
