What a neat little hidden gem! We walked in here after having a beer at the brewery next door. The place is so inviting and chic when you walk in. We were quickly greeted and seated. The beer and wine menu is extensive with great offerings.
We started with the butternut squash soup. It was anything to write home about. I wouldn't get it if I went back.
For dinner we had Salmon on a bed of Rissoto that had chucks of butternut squash in it. The flavor of this dish was great. It was also a very large serving.
One my co-workers has the red fish with asparagus and rice. He said the topping

I was very pleased with both my meal and drinks. I sat at the bar on a Thursday evening and it was not crowded at all. A very cozy and intimate dinner spot right in the middle of downtown Macon. I love risotto so I tired the Risotto and broccoli with a salmon filet. Perfect portion size, very filling. I was pleased with the menu options and I will definitely be back to try more options. The bartender made me the most delicious Sangrini, also tried the Pear Martini, which was equally delicious.

Didn’t feel good after eating here. I enjoyed the butternut squash and sage soup…but the pesto chicken pasta did me in. I couldn’t even finish it.
Not only were there bacon chunks but it tasted like bacon grease. Pesto pasta is supposed to taste like fresh pesto.
It literally tasted like fat and I ended up not feeling well.
Our service was also rare to be seen and had a dreary energy.

Passing through and wanted something other than side-of-the interstate fare. This gem is in downtown, about half a mile off 16. Excellent meal - Reuben was amazing and the sweet potato frites ($2 upcharge) were well worth the money. The chicken salad croissant was very good as well. We could take or leave the potato hash. Sat at the bar and service was super.

Omg! The food! What a great dinner after a long drive on our way to the mountains. McKinley took great care of us… served us an incredible meal! The risotto was amazing with salmon that was cooked perfectly! We will be back whenever we are traveling through the Macon area. Have to come back to see McKinley… the best server ever!!!!

My husband and I came here for brunch at the recommendation of friends and we were impressed! The food came out quickly and was really delicious. The shrimp and grits, French toast, and salad are my go to dishes and are fantastic. Plus the mimosas never disappoint! We’ve come here several times now and it’s easily one of our favorite brunch spots in Macon. We always make a reservation just in case because they will get busy pretty quickly.

I used to come here for lunch a lot before moving out of state last year. I came back today for their Halloween brunch with family and I was happy to see that it's still just as good.
I've always loved their Reuben, and the Halloween French toast was delicious too. The restaurant had lots of cute Halloween decor out, and they even had candy treat bags at every table seat too which was such a cute touch.
Other favorites are the sweet frites, chicken salad, and macaroni and cheese. Great service as well, just be warned it can get crowded pretty quickly. Definitely one of Macon's

I am between a three and a half and four on this spot.
We were driving home to Jacksonville from visiting family north of Atlanta and used Yelp to find great brunch spots in Macon. This one was number one. After calling and speaking to a very nice young man, we were set for our reservation in an hour and fifteen minutes. Timing was spot on. We found a parking spot a few blocks away and were immediately seated.
They have several spaces inside that are in three different rooms and outdoor patio seating. We were seated in the back room and I think I would have preferred a front room that allowed

We stopped here in Macon on our way from Atlanta to Jekyll Island one Sunday. Despite having a one hour wait due to the brunch crowd, when I told the hostess I had two small children who could fit in high chairs, the owner (I think she was the owner) stepped in and offered us a table that had just been cleared.
Definitely start with the sweet frites. It tastes just as good as the picture indicates- drizzled with a creamy blue cheese dressing and balsamic. These were the tastiest sweet potatoes fries I've had. Plentiful portion to share.

Great place for lunch and dinner. Food tasted good with great presentation. Ad soon you step on their door, you feel welcomed. You have options to sit indoor or in their patio. Patio is a little busy around lunch time. Servers knows their menu pretty well. They also have wine options as well. We went here twice while busy Macon. Now you know why they have five stars.

Passed by here recently and was not disappointed one bit! We had the rueben sandwich with the gouda mac & cheese and the chicken salad croissant with the house salad and ginger dressing. Everything was made to order and very tasty! Honestly one of the best ruebens and mac & cheese that I’ve tried. It’s in a great area and fairly priced for the quality and amount of food. They have a great lunch special for sandwiches that includes a side or a premium side!
Will stop by again soon!

Love it! My brother goes to College in Macon. We stopped by to eat here and we loved it! My steak was good, the drinks were strong and you definitely can’t go wrong with the appetizer cauliflower. It was soooooooo good! I’m mad I didn’t get a pic of it. I could tell the pasta was homemade. All
Our food was very good. Well
Be back when I’m in town.

Cute little restaurant - - oops, bistro, duh, it's in the name - - with a line at the door when we walked up at 11am this morning.
Sat at the bar and had bottled beer (no draft here). I tried Orpheus Transmigration of Souls Double IPA and Atalanta Tart Plum Saison, and both were very good.
For brunch I had the Cajun Omelette with gouda cheese grits and Mark had the Shrimp and Grits. Both delicious.
But the star of the show was the Double-layer Chocolate Cake with chocolate ganache and chocolate chip icing, and whipped cream with fresh berries. After the first bite, Mark said, "Don't start crying

Oliver Bistro is a Macon Gem ! Centrally located in downtown. Oliver offers a variety of gourmet dishes that will delight your palate. I've been here a couple times and was told to come back from brunch. The first time I had an amazing salad and the second time I had a Turkey melt. Also they have have contactless check out were you can pay by scanning your receipt and pay straight from your phone.

We stopped by Oliver's on our way to Savannah and it was a perfect stop. Downtown Macon is really cute and clean. It has the old time American town vibe. The food at Oliver's was great- not too salty or sweet. The food came out quickly and our server, Tyler, was quick and continually refilled our drinks.

This is my first time going to this restaurant. This is a really cute restaurant with a little bougie feel! We were greeted right when we walked in during the lunch hour. We were seated right away. There are plastic screens between the booths to help with social distancing in the front of the restaurant. Initially we had a male waiter, he greeted us and allowed us more time to look at the menu. Unfortunately he didn't come back! But we were able to get another waitresses attention and she took great care of us. She also apologized for the wait and explained the other waiter was used

We had a lovely time here. Attempted the Downtown Grill-booked solid. Then the Dovetail- same deal. So we meander and find Oliver's Corner Bistro. Delightful! And fabulous. We got the crab dip appetizer (yummy) and for entrees the New York Strip and the Ribeye with the biggest asparagus I've ever seen and delicious mashed potatoes.
The staff was helpful, friendly and attentive. We would highly recommend it!

We at brunch here on a Sunday. They served us in outdoor seating per our request and the server wore a mask at all times.
The food was amazing. We had the Cajun Omelette with a side of hash potatoes (delicious, not too spicy and cooked perfectly). The omelette was almost sharing size! Also, the superfood salad with shrimp cooked perfectly.
Only drawback was a little slow on the service perhaps because we were seated outside? We were in no hurry anyway.

Wow, just wow. I really enjoyed eating here. I came for brunch with a friend of mine and ended up having the superfood salad. I also ordered the TCB and an order of French toast to go for my husband. The server was excellent and everyone there was so nice. We sat there until 3pm in the back alone, not realizing they closed at 2 and no one said anything. I apologized because we literally had no idea, but they went out of their way to make us not feel bad. The superfood salad is probably the best salad I have had ever. It comes with salmon, feta, berries, and ginger dressing. The salad was so fresh
