When I first began teaching dance in 2016, I danced in a tiny, windowless studio with only a handful of students. I never imagined that our dance family would grow to nearly 200 in our first two years. My journey as a dance instructor was born out of a passion to mentor and inspire young women through the arts.
Casey Crow is the founder and owner of Pagosa Springs Dance Academy. She was born and raised in beautiful Pagosa where she grew up as a competitive gymnast and later fell in love with dance. Casey trained in all dance styles at San Juan Dance Academy and Dance in the Rockies in Pagosa Springs and Durango.
Fun, high-quality dance training from instructors who invest in and care for each and every student. Knowing each student personally is one of the many benefits of a small studio. PSDA places an emphasis on using dance as a tool to improve confidence, self-esteem, and positive body image. Workshops are held throughout the year on these topics, and PSDA works to create an empowering environment for students on a daily basis.
