We worked with Cary for our newborn shoot and we couldn’t possibly have had a better experience! Cary was so sweet and clearly an expert at what she does. She asked about what props were sentimental or important and really captured our style.

Working with Anjola was incredible! She immediately helped us all feel comfortable. My four year old and one year old loved spending time with her and so the shoot felt effortless. Anjola came to our home this summer and captured some of my very favorite photos of our family after the addition of our newborn son. She guided the session effortlessly, engaged with our toddler and helped… create a calm and fun experience for everyone. Franzi is amazing! I was very nervous going into it because I hate photoshoots and I never look good in pictures and on top of that my baby’s fussy with strangers. But Nelly loved Franzi! She felt super comfortable with her from the very beginning, smiling and showing off. The pictures are absolutely beautiful! Not sure how she managed to get those shots because I was sure I’ll look like a disaster, but all the photos are just amazing. She’s a true miracle worker!

I am so glad I found Deer Baby Photography! I love their simple style which puts your baby front and center by foregoing all the noisy props and over the top scenes - your little one should be the focus on the photos, not the background!! Cary was such a joy to work with! She used my baby's own blankets and nursery pillows to set the perfect simple backdrops and was able to capture some truly wonderful shots of my newborn daughter! Meghan is 100% kind and professional. Our 3-month old had quite a fussy day during our photo shoot and Meghan not only captured beautiful family moments but she took our baby's spit-up and cries in stride. It's so clear Meghan loves children and treats them with the utmost of love and care. My husband and I were quite taken with her interactions with us and with our baby. Yes, she is 100% a talented photographer (incredible!!) but even more importantly, she is kind and compassionate. I picked deer baby after a lot of research because I liked the photos on their website and I felt their prices were good, especially compared to other newborn photographers in my area (Park Slope).
Franzi shot my newborn (my first) a couple days ago and I could not be happier!! When she arrived I was a stress ball--the baby was simultaneously feeding and crying, the house wasn't ready, I hadn't had any sleep, and I was sure my baby wouldn't cooperate for the shoot. Julia is amazing! We did the 2 hour family photo session at DUMBO and we couldn't be more happier about how the pictures turned out. Not only is she a talented photographer, she is great at making people be at ease and comfortable in front of the camera. She was very good at grabbing my daughters attention and captured so many different expressions of my 1 year old daughter. I am so glad I found her and look forward to working with her in the future.

Julia's a must go to for baby photography! She is passionate about her profession and is sweet in person. I brought my 6 month old son to her studio to take pictures and they came out insanely beautiful. My family and friends are asking where did I get my sons photos taken:) because they look exquisite. I adored this experience, and will definitely recommended. Two-thumbs UP!
