Agate Electrolysis was established in 2013 by Licensed Cosmetic Therapist, Terra Britt, providing electrolysis for men and women with unwanted hair. Living in a society that is image drive and often shameful towards individuals with unwanted hair, it can be very distressful and embarrassing for those affected by it. Agate Electrolysis was created with the soul purpose to provide affordable, safe, and permanent hair removal to all who struggle with unwanted hair.

I graduated Ohio Medical Electrology Institute in 2013 and am currently licensed through the Ohio State Medical Board as a Cosmetic Therapist. I regularly attend continuing education classes to continue to provide the safest treatment to my clients. I am also a member of Cosmetic Therapists Association of Ohio (CTAO) and American Electrology Association (AEA).
The dermal papilla and regenerative cells, which make the hair grow, are located in the bottom two thirds of the hair follicle. This is the area to be targeted to destroy the hair permanently. A fine insulated probe is inserted into the follicle of the hair and a minute current is applied, destroying the dermal papilla and regenerative cells so the hair will never grow again.
I have used Reiki for my own healing for the past six years, and I now want to share this wonderful healing technique with others. I have been through a number of emotional traumas and losses as a child and adult. Which eventually turned into physical illness for which I used traditional medicine. But, after years of prescription medicines and diagnosis, after diagnosis, I turned to alternative medicine and health care.
