NG Salon and Tonsorial was founded in 2007 by president Eric Norris. He's a 1995 graduate from Mable Bailey Fashion College School of Modeling and Cosmetology, and a 2013 graduate of Rivertown School of Beauty, Barber, Skincare and Nails. Norris started his journey to become a master barber in childhood when he convinced his mom to buy him a set of clippers so he could cut his brothers' hair.

My stepson got a horrible haircut at a chain salon and he was understandably unhappy. I called NG Salon this morning to make an appointment to get it fixed and they were able to fit him in this afternoon, thankfully!!!! Jerry did an excellent job and my stepson loves his new haircut!!!! Thank you for helping us out on such short notice! You have a new customer. 😃💯

This place is excellent! I brought my 5 year old in to Jerry for his first barbershop haircut. Being his first time, he was afraid, but Jerry was very patient and gracious and even helped him to calm down a little. Needless to say, everything ended on good note. This is the best shop in town, the whole experience blew me away, and I definitely recommend them and will be back!

Everything ‼️ All the stylist outstanding, professional and the salon has gone over the top to ensure client safety since reopening last May . Have been using them for years and wouldn’t change unless my… stylist left but then she’s the owner but I was with her before Salon NG and some of the other stylists have been with her for a very long time . No staff turnover here .

Today was my 2 year old sons first time getting a professional hair cut. We chose NG salon bc of the amazing reviews and we werent disappointed. Bobbi did a great job fixing the mess i made on his head with my… attempt at a quarantine cut 🤦🏼♀️ and she was very friendly and patient with my son. his hair cut looked great and my son felt comfortable and relaxed. Definitely recommend!

Let me preface by saying that I don't make assumptions about a person's ability according to their cultural background. I like this barbershop and Cory is an excellent barber and my son's hair always looks… great. My concern is that apparently the barbers who can cut textured hair were all booked for today. This we found out today when my son went in for a scheduled appointment and was told by the barber that he doesn't know how to cut textured hair. This would have been nice to know when the appointment was made earlier in the week. My son went in for a hot shave and a hair cut and received

I get a high skin tight razor fade, and anyone who likes their hair this style knows how difficult it is to find a barber who can deliver this. Moving to Columbus I was super nervous on where I was going to find a place who could cut my hair correctly. I suffered one set back at my first place I tried out (Not Salon NG) but then found Brandon here an NG. Thank goodness! This place is very unique, the right side is your traditional salon where most of the girls work. But the left side is the "Man Cave" equipped with a flat screen TV, pool table and the barbers. I recently moved to Columbus and had a haircut by Rachel at Salon NG. I have to say that it was the best haircut I've ever had. Not only did Rachel cut my hair, but she trimmed my eyebrows and touched up spots with a straight razor. I appreciate the time and effort that Rachel spent with me. It shows that she is focused on quality, not quantity when it comes to customers.

So happy with Salon NG. My 3 year old had experience a bad haircut at another salon a while back ago and he hates getting his haircut. Rachel took the challenge on and has been cutting his hair, she is so patient with him. And so nice. Even though it's a very stressful time for him (and yes, me too). She is very understanding.

I'm only giving this 3 stars because I don't think the place should be rated solely on one person. The atmosphere was great but my hair stylist did a terrible job. I asked for a line and she messed one side up but "didn't see it" she told me that someone must have taken a chunk out before her. Right... She had to cut it even shorter to even it out and since I've been trying to grow my hair out, I am very upset about that. She also did a terribly choppy job on the back and my hairline is now far from even.... I am sure there are good hairdressers there but mine was
