In the early 1970's, Richard Wolter spent his days in the local factory, his evenings and weekends in his basement, building cabinetry for family and friends. It wasn't long before he realized he had more interest in his cabinets than a part-time job could fulfill. In 1984, he started Wolter's Custom Cabinets as a full-time business.
Quickly outgrowing his basement, Rich built a small finishing shop behind his home. Before long, it too, did not provide enough room for his growing business. With great anticipation, ground was broken for a full-scale cabinet shop to be built. As his kids slept above the midnight hammering, the new shop would provide him the opportunity to separate his business and home.

Face frame material is hand selected from the wood species of your choice. It could be 3/4 Hard Maple, Red Oak, White Oak, Hickory, Knotty Alder, Cherry or Paint Grade. The choice is yours. Sides are 3/4 thick real wood veneered domestic plywood hand selected to match the face frame. Solid wood frames with applied doors also available.

I highly recommend Wolter’s Cabinets. Glenn and his team went above and beyond to ensure my wife and I were satisfied with our cabinets. They initially did the upstairs of our house, and when we finished our basement, we requested them again. Almost four years after they installed our cabinets, I had an issue with a couple of hinges, and after an email to Glenn he had his guy, Steve, out the very next day to fix them. When Steve left, he told me not to hesitate to call again, “we stand behind our product” he said. It’s not too often you hear companies say that. Thanks again Glenn! You and

We recently built a new home and Glenn was recommended to us by several of the home owners in our Sub-division. They were right, Wolter’s Custom Cabinets are the best…Glenn takes the time to explain the entire process and when you visit his facility he takes all of the time you need to pick out all of the cabinet fixtures. His installers are excellent and my overall rating for Wolter’s Custom Cabinets is “Outstanding or an A++!” If you haven’t picked a cabinet maker, I’d highly recommend Glenn and his team!

My experience with Wolter's Custom Cabinets was outstanding. I wanted something different with the finish for the cabinets in my new office and they got it done without any issues or hesitation. The quality of the work was outstanding and they delivered and installed the cabinets as promised. I will definitely use them again and I would recommend them to anyone looking for quality custom cabinets at a good price.

We custom ordered our cabinets from Glenn @ Wolter's Custom Cabinets for our new house. We received great service working with Glenn to design our cabinets! Glenn had the cabinets finished to accommodate our contractor and granite installers. Glenn also accommodated the floor installers so he could install the cabinets/island to meet specifications required for the floor warranty. Glenn made sure that we were totally satisfied and that every aspect of his cabinetry went above all expectations! Glenn deserves a 5 Star Rating! We highly recommend Wolter's Custom Cabinets!
