Physical therapy is extremely beneficial for arthritis sufferers, as it not only relieves pain but also decreases the risk of sustaining an arthritis-related injury. Millions of Americans are diagnosed with arthritis, and it is an extremely common condition to develop. Many people wait until their arthritis becomes severe before seeking the help of a physical therapist.
Whether you're experiencing general back pain or sciatica, our Callao, VA physical therapy practice can help. The American Physical Therapy Association states that back pain is the most commonly experienced form of pain for Americans. In fact, one in every four Americans has sustained some sort of back pain in the past three months.
There are many reasons why balance and gait disorders may occur, including underlying neurological or musculoskeletal disorders. Do you ever feel unsteady, as if you may fall over without warning? Does the pain in your joints make it difficult for you to move around? Do you experience spinning sensations, even when you are sitting or standing still?

Highly recommend! I have MS and I started out with sooo many challenges. My team worked together with me to make me comfortable and knows my limits. They also helped me see that it is okay to go past your limits sometimes. I love my PT center!

Caroline (my physical therapist) was very thorough and systematic in her approach to my rehabilitation. Meticulously guiding me through each phase wellness sessions, with patience and encouragement. The proof is in the pudding … I feel so much better today than I did on my first day of therapy.
Thank you Caroline! And thank you too Chantal (my previous therapist) for doing an outstanding job on my neck. My neck hasn’t felt this good in years. You both are tops in your field!

I have really appreciated the quality of the care I have received from Caroline and the staff at Abilities Abound. I fell like they are doing a good job of helping me get back to where I want to be. This facility is really providing a lot of much needed health care for this area. I will highly recommend them to anyone who asks.

I am so happy that I decided to come back when I needed physical therapy. Not only are they professional but they also have genuine interest in their patients needs. They make you feel like they want you to get well. And they give you their undivided attention. When ever I need physical therapy I will always come back. It makes you feel good knowing that you have someone that cares about you.

After a referral for knee pain from an Orthopedic surgeon, I called Abilities Abound. Dr. Caroline C. conducted my initial assessment and a plan for strengthening my leg muscles, during a 4-to six week primary treatment plan. The plan is working. Dr. C. has conducted a second progress report, the PT staff are keeping up the schedule, the progress is showing. Check back, in 90+ days for another update. I am happy with the staff, the equipment, friendly environment, plus attention to detail in the workouts.
