Parents and Students of South Fremont High School, Fremont School District has implemented a new learning management system that will make direct instruction (in-person) and online instruction simpler for all involved. This new learning management system is called Canvas. Teachers have been hard at work learning Canvas and are excited for classes to begin Tuesday to begin utilizing it all.

Before we can fully start running with the courses both parents and students will need to create a Canvas account. Can be used for credit recovery. Disruption of education may be impossible to avoid. However, we can offer online electives. Here are two from the English Department. These courses will begin when schools close.
Services
South Fremont High School Philosophy: The school recognizes its function to be that of a provider for a school environment conducive to the best teaching-learning experience that student abilities permit. While academic excellence is the primary focus of our instructional program, we are concerned with students' social well being and development.
For Juniors and Seniors who are behind on Art STEAM; Ms. Warne has put together some PDF's to help with Art. This may only be used by juniors and seniors for past school years. All other students should talk to their English, art, or music teachers for help with arts reflections. Juniors and seniors should not use these for the current year's submissions.
Get involved in BPA. It is a great experience, and a great way to develop your leadership skills. See Mrs. Berrett if you want to join. We are now accepting new members. One dollar for each member is donated to Special Olympics. The remainder (9.00) goes toward the state leadership conference fee of (45.00).
High School students who have an interest in player Division I or Division II in college must meet the NCAA requiremnets. Please visit the NCAA Web site for the most current information. Once on the site, you can create an account and enter South Fremont High School's ACT code--130580 to see how South Fremont courses match up with those required by the NCAA.

To be fair, some of these reviews are exaggerated, but talking to some of the students here i have found that students who may not have an interest in investing time into the school get treated poorly. I spoke to a gentleman who had people throwing paper wads into his hair, and he tried getting help from teachers, but nothing came of it. Keep in mind this is just a google reviewing site, so there is no need for people to spam either one stars or five stars to even it out. In conclusion, some kids get treated poorly just like at any regular high school.

I came from a school all the way in the middle of the country, Iowa. Coming here, I have never been in such a tight knit community. The teachers care so much and want to help you succeed. They do all they can, and they forgive so much. No school is perfect and no teacher is perfect. However, don't be judging unless you are perfect.

Do you all care that much looking at google reviews? We all know how some teachers act and that dosen’t surprise me and all these students telling me these true stories about that some teachers swear at there students because of one thing they did wrong instead of sending them to the principal office and that the teachers tend to give attitude to them, and teachers bullying students and harassing them is not cool at all. I wouldn’t even want to take my kids here after the stories they all told me and other people. Yall need to start making some changes instead of telling your straight A’s

So at my old school I was a 3.5 to 3.8 gpa kid the teachers were always helpful and taught to individuals not the masses south Fremont teaches in a very cookie cutter style approach and now I struggle to push my gpa past 2.3 and I’m not trying to play a victim card as I don’t feel picked on or favored less than anyone else but I can see that it does happen and I watch it happen teachers and coaches pick favorites and that’s obviously not the way it should be I watched one teacher in particular bang his own head on the white board and say “I’m done” after kids weren’t getting the concept

Not playing victim but some of our teachers are absolute trash. I didn’t understand a concept in a certain class so I tried to ask questions so that I would be able to understand and the teacher said I was distracting the other students from their work before banging his head off the white board yelling that he was “so done” and proceeding to force us to do a lesson that he didn’t completely teach. And steam is an absolute joke. Going into highschool we were promised that we needed it to graduate but it wasn’t part of our actual grade in classes and now if you don’t have your steam
