Neck pain is a sign that something is wrong. It could be a spinal vertebra disc wearing out, spinal vertabral misalignment, muscle trigger points, pinched nerves or many other causes. Neck pain can, many times, also lead to headaches as well. Tension Headaches, also known as stress-related headaches, are the most common kind of headache.
Low back pain is one the most common conditions that patient's seek treatment from their primary care provider. According to a study published in The Archives of Internal Medicine in 2009, it is estimated in as many as 70-80% of office visits have been for back-related conditions. Common treatments include rest, ice, over-the-counter medication, and discontinuing activity that exacerbates the condition.
Whiplash is a neck injury due to forceful, rapid back-and-forth movement of the neck, like the cracking of a whip. Whiplash most often occurs during a rear-end auto accident however the injury can also result from a sports accident or other trauma. I am very pleased with my treatment and how quickly I was able to regain mobility. The adjustments and prescribed exercises have helped me in so many ways. Great staff, so helpful and personable. Dr. Steven Caraway has been a miracle worker for me! I also LOVE his staff! They are very welcoming and will make you feel at home as soon as you walk in. I had problems with passing out randomly for two years. I went to every doctor you could think of. I went to Houston Methodist to try and get answers and also saw several different doctors there, yet nobody seemed to know what was wrong. I started seeing Dr. Caraway and he took some x-rays that revealed I was out of alignment with my neck, back and my tailbone is bent instead of being curved like it should be. Absolutely the BEST Chiropractor I’ve ever seen! I’ve seen chiropractors in Alabama, Mississippi, Florida, and Texas and I’ve never had such a wonderful experience like I did with Dr.Caraway. He truly wants what’s best for his patients & wants to make sure you are completely better before he releases you. The staff are always so nice & helpful as well.
