I loved Monterey Day Spa. I scheduled a Facial with Laura, their lead estician this past Saturday. Laura did a wonderful reviewing my skin, discussing my problem areas, and reviewing her plan for helping with my skin. If you are in Monterey, I HIGHLY recommend this place! It was the most relaxing facial I have ever had.

I gifted my pregnant wife up for a PRENATAL MASSAGE. They said they can fit her in on a monday at 445pm. She gets there and she told me that the front desk girls were saying that she didn't make an appointment at all, however they told her the day prior that she was coming in for a PRENATAL MASSAGE. They tell her today that they don't have enough workers licensed to do prenatal massages so she has to wait another F*cken hour for her my gift to her... Look, I massage my wife every other night when Im not home, but this was a gift to from me to her. 150 bucks for poor service and asuming my pregnant

I did not enjoy my experience here at all. A few months back my boyfriend and I , got a couples massage which also includes a jetted tub that you can enjoy after the massage. First of all they decided to clean the tub during the time of my appointment so we couldn't enjoy it, and they did not discount my price even though the tub was included in the deal. Secondly I asked the masseuse to focus on my shoulder and upper back and he didn't listen at all, spent the last 10 min massaging my ears.. definitely will never return to this spot , waste of money .

I have been seeing Irene Alcantar at Monterey Day Spa for several months now and she has made such a difference in my physical well being. I carry a lot of tension in my upper back and shoulders and she has been able to release that tension and get me moving again. Even my posture has improved! Not only is she an extremely talented and knowledgeable therapist but she also listens to what I tell her needs work. I usually book 90 minute appointments, and typically Irene works a solid hour on my upper back and shoulders before moving to my forearms and wrists to alleviate my carpal tunnel and arthritis

My husband and I booked a couples massage at Monterey Day Spa; we both love massages but this was our first time booking at this facility. It was AMAZING. Small but lovely place, conveniently located and with its own parking. Irene and Jalissa were both fabulous. Sometimes we worry that one of us will get a great massage and the other won't, but we both left feeling wonderful. Irene and Jalissa were both very intuitive about areas of tension - 2 thumbs up! My only complaint was that we weren't provided with any water at the conclusion of the massage, but we will definitely go back

Omgoodness what an amazing experience! My husband and I had a couples massage for our 20th yr anniversary. Irene and Brandy made it so awesome! They put rose pedals on the beds, which just made it so much more special. We both did the swedish with aroma therapy. Irene did my massage, and she was just absolutely amazing! I will definitely be going back!

I arranged to have 3 masseuses from the spa come to a private home to give massages to a small group of women who were spending the weekend celebrating my birthday with me. The "concierge" service was beyond amazing: perfect in every way! The therapists were prompt, highly skilled, considerate and professional. We enjoyed having our massages outdoors with the calming ocean breeze as a backdrop. I definitely plan to visit the spa in person next time I return to the area. Julissa was my therapist whom I will be seeking again! Thank you for a wonderful experience!

We started our 15 year anniversary celebration with a relaxing couples bath, massage, and pedicures. From the ambiance to the service received, we had no complaints. The service was impeccable. The masseuses we had were Brandy and Analy were great and we'll definitely request them again. We'll definitely return here for a repeat relaxing experience.

I booked the Sweetheart Special which included a 30 minute soak and a 60 minute massage for my husband and I. We both absolutely loved it. Everything about Monterey Day Spa was relaxing, the atmosphere, the staff, the soak and the massage. My masseuse was Analy and my husband's was Jalissa. They both did an amazing job especially paying attention to what we wanted them to focus on. We would recommend either one of them and will be planning another massage soon!!

I booked the Sweetheart Special for my husband's birthday a few weeks ago and we just went in for our appointment this morning. We were greeted by Lisa and Ian, our masseuses, who showed us to our "Sweetheart Suite" and explained the house rules and then asked us about the aches and pains we have so they could keep them in mind while giving our massages.

After a bad experience at another spa, I was ecstatic to get ahold of Carey, the owner, to get an an appointment here. What a life-altering experience! Carey was very attentive and personable. I love my regular place at my old hometown so the hardest part about moving was looking for my new go-to. Thankfully I stumbled on Monterey Day Spa on Yelp. I called to make sure the place was open as I was headed there. I was told I can have a tour and overview when I got there.
