In the last 15 years just like most community based Main Street businesses, everything has changed and many Mom and Pop retail florist would agree.

From Boxed and Shipped flower Internet brands that go completely around the Local Florist to Grocery Store Chains that offer pre-made factory produced bouquets and lets not forget the Telemarketing Order Gatherers who have effectively prostituted the flower by wire market and who are often not real florists, many of whom charge non-traditional junk fees, offer poor to non-existent customer service and fake discounts that tend to create unreasonable and unrealistic value expectations for what they charge customers, leaving the Local Flower Shops to bear the brunt of complaints from their angry customers who paid so much and received so little and then often blame the Local Flower shop thinking they had something to do with them being duped.
