Lori Wheat opened a small clinic in 2010, after graduating from Boston University with her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. With the addition of remarkable Physical Therapist, Karen Vandersypen, PT, DPT, PCS and Physical Therapy Assistant, Damion Spillman, PTA, this small clinic has grown to become Wheat Physical Therapy & Wellness, one of the most elite and superiorly staffed physical therapy clinics in Northwest Louisiana.
Lori Wheat has achieved Board certification in Orthopedics through the American Physical Therapy Association. This is the highest achievement recognized in Therapy for those therapists who specialize in Orthopedics. Lori is one of only two therapists between Shreveport and Alexandria who have achieved this honor.
