In 1998 I, Dan Rivas, began a floor service company and got the name Aptiva interior solutions in order to work for lowes and the home depot. Soon after I enlisted the help of a childhood friend, Johnny, to start this endeavor with me. We had wonderful 5 year run with the home depot, we met a lot of people, did a lot of different work and learned the in's and out's of a big box store.

John and I went on to work with a couple of different companies for 2 years, when I approached him again to help with running a retail flooring store along with my brother Frank in New Braunsfels. This proved to be much more difficult than I anticipated, so we moved to Luling and recently Gonzales and decided to set ourselves apart from the pack, we did our best to offer great service at a good price.

Fibers are the most important decision when it comes to selecting your carpet flooring. Understanding the characteristics will help you make the right selection for your needs and style. Following is a guide from Aptivato help make this process easier for you. Both are equally as durable, so it will come down to your requirements and budget.
Both solid and engineered hardwood have similar but yet different installation techniques. Before we get into any details, it's important to understand that the installation itself will affect the appearance, performance, and longevity of any floor. As a hardwood flooring retailer, we know that wood floors can last for decades if installed and cared for properly.
When you think about it, flooring has a big task. It sets the tone of a room and, as one designer says "it's the biggest expression of personal style." Yet, it also has to be functional and, preferably, affordable. That underscores tile. It adds elegance and class to any room. It is waterproof, can sometimes be used outside, and is durable.
Wood floors are big this year. Very big, and that's expected to last over 15 years. But wood may not be an option for you because you want to put in a high moisture area like the kitchen, bath, or laundry room. Enter luxury vinyl flooring (LVF), because it has such a realistic, fashionable look we're seeing it in high-end homes where once only natural materials would be considered.

We used Aptiva Interior Solutions for a major remodeling project in 2013. We were happy with their work and didn't hesitate to call them when we had water damage to our laminate flooring in a small pantry and immediately outside of the pantry.
We regret calling them for the repairs to our floor.
They sent a clown who had no idea what he was doing. Not only did he manage to leave gaping spaces from the new flooring to the wall but he broke and damaged the flooring outside the pantry by using his mallet to hammer down the pieces instead of interlocking the laminate floors.
