Eye Love Olympia specializes in eye care for the entire family with our fresh, modern take on eye care. We carry independent, affordable, unique glasses to allow you to look your best. Dr. Samantha Hamblet, owner and optometrist at Eye Love Olympia, is excited to continue to serve the greater Olympia and Tumwater area.
What do we do here at Eye Love? Our hope and effort is put towards making the patient feel comfortable and treated like family with the most UP TO DATE equipment possible. Technology has come so far, particularly in eye examinations and glasses. We have found that utilizing technology, in all aspects of our examinations, allows a more thorough and less stressful experience for our patients.
Neurolenses are the world's first and only prescription lenses that add a contoured prism to bring the eyes into alignment. This state of the art technology relieves headaches, neck/shoulder pain, and eye strain that many people experience because of the use of digital devices, reading, etc. If you suspect that your headaches could be related to your eyesight, Neurolens might be the solution!
In most cases, nearsightedness is simply a minor inconvenience and poses little or no risk to the health of the eye, but sometimes myopia can be severe enough to be considered a degenerative condition. We have a solution to nearsightedness! We are proud to offer the only true way to slow the progression of nearsightedness (myopia), with no more increased glasses prescriptions each year.
Dry eye disease is one of the most common eye conditions worldwide and a primary reason for visits to the eye doctor. This condition occurs when your tears aren't able to provide adequate lubrication for your eyes. The minute I walked in, I was warmly greeted . The staff and doctor are amazing. They are very professional and yet personable. The exam and explanation were thorough and easy to understand. I was grateful to have assistance and input from the staff with my choices of glasses. There’s a great selection! This experience set the bar high!

Aside from being the most aesthetically pleasing medical office I’ve ever been to, the staff is welcoming, professional, personable, knowledgable, and accommodating. To round it out, their frame selection is outstanding, offering on trend and classic. You get what you pay for and you’re getting everything with this team!

The staff at Eye Love Olympia are incredibly professional and competent. And, I would say, kind and attentive. The office is clean, clean, clean with state of the art equipment in every room! If you live within a 50 mile radius, your next optometry appointment should absolutely be at Eye Love Olympia!

Be your own health advocate and do the research necessary to get the care you need and deserve! I had been to at least 4 different eye Doctors/clinics… w/ multiple visits at each, until I gave up on trying to get referrals to a true Dry Eye Specialist. Then I found Eye Love Olympia!
One visit is all it took to get state of the art testing, a diagnosis, and a treatment plan. Dr. Samantha Hamblet is amazing! I have hope now! It brings me to tears every time I think about it!

Dr. Hamblet has set a new standard for doctors for me. She really got to know me and considered all of my medical conditions and family history when looking at my eyes. She also asked about me as a person, which feels so rare with providers. My eye health is in great hands here! Not to mention the clinic itself is very clean and stylish with very friendly staff that checks your benefits for you before the visit. So happy I switched to this clinic!

Dr. Hamblet was amazing! I took my 9 year old twins in because I had concerns that the last doctor they saw didn't give them the correct prescription and she took her time to figure out and make sure the prescription she gave them was correct. She was patient with them and kind. The office staff was very friendly and helpful. We won't go to anyone else now.

Everything about EyeLove is top notch. From the moment that you walk into the bright, modern office and are greeted at the front desk you know this isn’t a typical optometry office. The doctor is personable, knowledgeable and makes you aware of everything she is doing. The staff are friendly, helpful and are using state of the art equipment. Then when it’s time to pick your frames you are presented with modern, top of the line frames. As I said, a top notch office and I highly recommend then. Give them a try, you won’t be disappointed!

We choose Eye Love after reading all the great reviews and we weren't disappointed. The best eye appointment my husband and I have ever had. Very thorough exam with state of the art equipment. Dr. Hamblet was very professional and took the time to address all of our issues, and the rest of the staff were friendly and helpful too. Very nicely appointed office with a great vibe. I love this Optometry office. From the moment you walk in you feel comfortable and welcome. The staff is so sweet and helpful. They are professional and yet don’t rush you through like you are just a number. They carefully take you through all the tests and are patient and kind. Dr. Samantha Hamblet was the best. I have had some really bad experiences in the past with optometrists and so I was somewhat apprehensive but am so glad I found her office.! I will definitely be back and make sure my husband gets an appointment too.

They answer their phone on the first or second ring. No phone trees here. Booking an appointment is easy and not 3 months out.
The office is very clean, hip, and modern. Parking is quick, easy and free. Staff is very efficient, friendly and professional. They took my daughter and I back before our appointment time. No waiting past your appointment time here. They actually respect your time.

Best eye doctor I've ever been to. This is honestly the first time I feel that someone got my prescription right - I'm living without headaches for the first time in over 20 years. Everyone was super nice, and took good care of me. My only issue was that their variety of frames to choose from wasn't very large. I will be going here from now on for sure, and will be making appointments for my husband and son very soon.

Often, when getting a routine examination, it's hard not to shake the idea that you're just another box being checked. Nothing could be further from that at Eye Love Olympia. From the moment I entered the tasteful, spacious reception/sales area, I felt genuinely welcomed. The state-of-the-art examination technology was dazzling in its capabilities. When I first started seeing Dr. Hamblet I had iritis. She treated it and when it came back, she became concerned that my eyes were a red flag for something more serious. It took another 4-5 years for doctors to finally diagnose my auto immune disease, and it was always Dr. Hamblet pushing the doctors and advocating for me to find answers.
She refuses to give up on you until you get answers. She goes the extra mile and always chooses
