When David Nation opened his first pharmacy in 1972, he made a decision not to stock items that would take away from our main focus -- medicines. A large inventory increases the cost of doing business, and that cost is always passed on to customers. David has been a pharmacist for over 50 years. His experience includes over 3 years in the military as Chief, Pharmacy Service, U.S. Army Hospital, Fort Polk, LA.

I've been with the Nation's Medicines on Burlew Blvd for just over a year now and so far every experience I've had with them has been positive. The staff are consistently friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and kind. When I switched to a new medication, the pharmacist came out to make sure I knew everything I needed to and that all my questions were answered. When I ran out of pills right before vacation and my doctor was AWOL, a tech arranged to loan me a few pills for my trip without even being asked. When I had to call with a question five minutes before they closed, the employee on the line talked

The hours on the door say to 6:30 PM. However the doors are locked and they say go to the drive-through prior to that. In addition I have been told when picking up items or dropping them off that I need to circle the building to get back in line because someone doesn’t want to walk across the building to get something and come back. I question the level of customer service. To me they seem focused on what’s best for them and not what’s best for the customer. They push you to the drive-through window in the people are not customer friendly, if anything they are borderline rude. Avery was the

A special thanks to all off the staff there. They are so helpful. My husband and I have been getting our prescriptions filled there for a few years now and the pharmacist always takes the time to explain everything we need to know about our meds. Yesterday I went there to get a prescription filled for my grandson and didn't have his insurance card. The lady at the counter went above and beyond to help me get the information needed to fill his prescriptions. So glad to have a pharmacy that cares.
