The Prescription Center is a full-service pharmacy specializing in prescription services, custom compounding, medical supplies, natural pharmacy, and over the counter products, in addition to offering a series of health related seminars to improve the health and well-being of you and your family.

The Prescription Center is an independent, family-owned and operated pharmacy located in Concord, New Hampshire. For over 50 years, we have built our reputation by going the extra mile to ensure your complete satisfaction. We believe our longevity in the fast-paced pharmacy world is attributed to this fact.
Founded in 1951, Fanaras Pharmacy was owned by John Fanaras. At this time, Fanaras Pharmacy had a luncheon area along with the pharmacy portion of the business. With an original staff of only five family members, Fanaras Pharmacy thrived for many years. The store was purchased by Charlie Fanaras in 1989, at which time it was renamed the Prescription Center.
Jessica joined our Prescription Center team in January of 2007 at our Capital Pharmacy at Concord Hospital. She previously worked for the VNA child care center for 4 years. Jess lives in New Boston with her husband of one year and had their first child together in early 2011. She stays busy outside of work by attending sporting events with her family.
Wednesday night, The Prescription Center, Concord, NH was named the 2012 New Hampshire Retailer of the Year by the Retail Merchants Association of New Hampshire. Each year, the Retail Merchants Association of New Hampshire presents a retailer in the state with their NH Retailer of the Year Award.

This award is presented to a New Hampshire retailer who has achieved significant success and growth in his or her business and provides excellent customer service.They support retailing locally and at a state level, and their business makes significant contributions to their local community. Nancy Kyle, President/CEO of RMANH, commented "In a world where few independent pharmacies are surviving, the Prescription Center is thriving."

The customer service on both pharmacy and medical supply are top notch! I was shocked with how caring, professional they were. They took the time to answer my needs and I didn’t feel rushed and not important. Stephanie on the medical supply side is wonderful! She tried all angles to solve an issue and was super patient with me. Unfortunately my insurance isn’t in network with this group. Which Stephanie called me to let me know before hand. I’m still going through with this supplier and paying out of pocket, the price isn’t bad and my experience so far is well worth the out of pocket cost

Have had 1 delivery of my nephews pull ups since August. They keep telling me it's been delivered accept payment every month yet 1 delivery in 6 months. Won't assist in finding where they are only tell me they were delivered and they can't do nothing about it. I take care of 2 different people with the same problem the other is 1 delivery in 3 months! This company is incompetent, rude, and accept payment for a service they don't deliver on! Beyond heated over their lack of caring about their customers!

The prescription center has been making compounded meds for me for years and they always do a great job. I have some very sensitive food allergens and the prescription center staff knows exactly what is in everything they make and are excellent about helping me make sure the meds are safe for me allergy-wise before I start a new one. Normally, I am order refills well in advance, but today I realized I made a mistake and had very few pills left. I don’t live near the pharmacy so this was a challenge. Had a great experience at the Prescription Center. Loved the relationship with the pharmacist. Changed from CVS due to the fact that every time I was in there, it seemed like a new face and I constantly had to re-explain my issues. In addition, I had to receive a compounded order for my dog and the Prescription Center was able to compound it while I was getting my regular prescriptions filled.

I've been patronizing the prescription center for years and have been very pleased. Unfortunately, at my last visit several employees were not wearing masks and when asked, the response was that some people do wear masks. I was shocked and don't think I can go there any more if they are so willing to potentially expose their customers to the Corona virus.

They couldn’t find my prescription. I talk to the doctor who had a receipt from the confirming they received it . But they insisted they can’t find it. How do you loss a prescription? When trying to figure all of this out they were very unhelpful and never offered to talk to the doctor and just denied that they didn’t have it and couldn’t help me. They said I could buy what I wanted full price if I need it. I don’t get it and I certainly will never go back here again.

Purchased an item from them that was marked on the box as $18.
When I got home and looked at the receipt, I was charged $36.
I called to discuss the discrepancy and the reply was " no that's the UPDATED price in the computer".
I pointed out that it was TWICE the price marked on the box and they didn't offer to adjust the price.
I will be returning the item and we will NEVER shop there again.

I’m sorry i did not get his name but my wife left Concord Hospital today with a RX for a Walker and could not negotiate the stairs. The young gentleman at the counter came out to our car to get my wifes information and made several trips to our car for ins info etc and she did not have to go into the store an attempt to go down stairs. Even though it is downtown Concord there is parking and an entrance in the back so u dont have to parallel park on Main Street! Much better service than other Medical supply stores in the area! 5 Stars for Sure!!

Reminds me of the old pharmacy's when they all knew your name and remembered your personal information like your family members names, ailments, allergies, etc..without looking into the computers. The staff is very helpful. For example, if you have no more refills left on your 'script, they will call your doctors office for you to get the authorization for you. Less work for you. They are also fast compared to other pharmacy's. Never wait more than 16 min. A+++ on The Prescription Center Main St!
