At the Yoga Path, students of all levels undertake a journey of discovery to learn more about life, through practices leading to a clearer understanding of the unity of body, mind, and spirit. Classes are taught in a classical tradition of teacher sharing with student, with one class building on the next, in a shared environment that promotes community and mutual learning.
Often class ends with tea to study and discuss the day's practice along with some basic yogic concepts. These eight steps basically act as guidelines on how to live a meaningful and purposeful life. They serve as a prescription for moral and ethical conduct and self-discipline; they direct attention toward one's health; and they help us to acknowledge the spiritual aspects of our nature.

Services
Due to the limited number of people we can allow in the studio at this time, class size will be limited to 8 people. It will be very important that if you want to attend an IN-PERSON class that you sign up on Schedulicity for the class you want to attend. Because of the limitation of this software, you will need to sign up for each individual class for each week.

I started taking classes with Mark at the Yoga Path in Spring of 2021. I was struggling with general aches and pains from working on a computer all day and my stress levels were not helping. Mark's lessons at yoga path have been transformational, not only for my body but for my mind and soul. I wish I would have known about this earlier. But this is hands-down the best gift I have given myself.
Technical details:

The times on Google mean nothing!
I’ve never done yoga before. I’m out of my element, yet interested. I read through their websites, but wanted more information before I commit to the “8 lessons” package. I drive there during the hours posted on google. The door is locked.
So now I’m looking through the window to see if I’m actually at a yoga studio. No one is there. Sitting down in front of tYP; I regoogle this place and call the number listed. A guy answers
Guy: “Hello?
Me: Hey, are you guys open today?
Guy:*long pause..... oh, the Yoga Path?
Me:yeah, I’m hoping to get some

I called ahead and spoke with Mark about the class. He was welcoming and encouraging so I went to the class. I was somewhat hesitant since I normally practiced at a heated studio. The class members were welcoming and the sound of birds outside the open window filled the room with the joy of morning! We worked through the poses including paired positions. At the end of the 60 minute class we gathered on our folded blankets in a circle and shared our thoughts with tea, apple slices and almonds. The group was again kind and welcoming. Studio was clean and fresh. Thank you for a great experience!

Mark Watson's yoga classes have literally restored me to health. I had been going to the chiropractor weekly when I started Mark's class in 2009. After a few weeks, I dropped the chiropractor altogether because yoga produced better, more lasting results.
I work at a computer all day long which used to cause chronic neck pain. I also had been diagnosed with bursitis in my right shoulder. Amazingly, yoga cured both for me.
Another benefit... Mark's yoga class is grounded in mindfulness and intention which improves my ability to find joy in the present moment.
