Dr. Burke Orthopedics and our team of Board-Certified Orthopedic Surgeons along with our Board-Certified Physiatrist are members of Fondren Orthopedic Group L.L.P. recognized as one of the largest and most comprehensive associations of private orthopedic surgery practitioners within Houston and the surrounding areas.
Dr. Taba is a Board-Certified orthopedic surgeon with special interests in conditions of the spine. He received certification in 2018 from The American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is a current member of the American Medical Association and the American Medical Student Association. Dr. Taba's experience and passion for spine care is what makes him a valuable addition to Dr. Burke Orthopedics and the care provided to all patients.
Dr. Patel is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is fully licensed under both the New York & Texas Medical Boards. He is currently a member of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA) and the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine (AOSSM). Dr. Patel specializes in sports medicine stemming from his extensive history with sports coverage.

My first visit with Dr.Burke was 11/10/2021 and everything went great. Dr.Burke was so great with me. He listened to me and told me straight forward what I had to do about my arthritis in both knees. I'm very thankful for going to him. The staff was a 5 * as well,very nice & respectful. I will be recommending other to him.

Dr seemed ok referring me to an mri. But the office check out process is RIDICULOUS!!! Over 30 minutes waiting to just check out.....and I’m still waiting.
After returning several times post surgery. I saw the dr. one time always the assistant. In my option if the patient is still having issues/complications they should be seeing the surgeon but he is too busy unless you are HAVING surgery. That tells me you only want my $$ not to care for your patients.
I won't be back and I won't refer!!

Dr. Burke is a top rated orthopedic surgeon with a friendly disposition and a willingness to explain procedures in detail. Have had two very successful surgeries with him and a third on the way. His rebuild of my shoulder and full replacement of my left knee were highly successful and work great. He also diagnosed the problems with my right knee replacement [replaced be another surgeon and practise in 2000 and never worked correctly] and I will have that replacement done in 2017. I would HIGHLY recommend him for orthopedic surgeries and the Fondren Practise he works with in the future. Ed H.
