Owner Jen Kinford is an extensively experienced makeup artist that has done numerous New York Fashion Week shows, countless beauty and editorial shoots, published in numerous magazines and worked with TV Networks. She earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree with a concentration in painting and sculpture under some of NYC's finest and most talented artists/professors.
At J.Kinford Beauty Group it is very important that, when considering makeup, their clients look like themselves. A wedding day is not the day to 'reinvent the wheel' and change the way a client looks. They believe in bringing out each person's natural beauty and showcasing what makes them feel beautiful.
The artists of J.Kinford Beauty Group believe that hair should be touchable, comfortable and accentuate your dress, makeup, and bone structure. Hair is like a sculpture, whether it is worn down like old Hollywood waves or a high chignon, is takes extensive knowledge of hair texture, using correct products and a creative eye.

5-star experience for sure! Jen is a prompt communicator and so passionate, and her team is just amazing. Dina (hair) and Jasmine (make-up) are incredibly talented and wonderful to work with. We had so much fun in the bridal suite getting ready. They perfectly executed everyone's vision and made us all feel so beautiful. Wish they could pamper us every day!

J. Kinford Beauty Group is absolutely incredible! From the initial call, to consultations during our 2 year engagement, hair and makeup trials and then the wedding, they deserve nothing but praise! Jennifer is warm, caring, knowledgeable and assisted us with every request. We had two brides (a total of 15 hair and 8 for makeup) so a full team of artists! For makeup we had Amanda G and Jasmine, and for hair we had Jenny, Gabby and Corrisa. On the big day, everyone looked truly stunning!! We had a hiccup on our end, and had to add an additional person for hair and makeup last minute and they immediately

Jen and her team are THE BEST! Jen was amazing not only on my wedding day, but she gave me skincare advice that I've used ever since. On my wedding day, I had a last minute change that I knew would be an inconvenience, but Jen and her team were kind, patient, and understanding. All in all, they made me feel comfortable, confident, and beautiful! Such an amazing team!

Jen and her team were so wonderful to work with! They were fantastic throughout the entire process, from our first consultation, to the trial hair and makeup, to the wedding day styles. Jenny (makeup) and Corissa (hair) fit our vision exactly and did absolutely beautiful work on the bride, bridesmaids, mother of the bride, and mother of the groom. I used J.Kinford Beauty for my wedding in June and it was one of the best decisions I made! Jennifer is so passionate about her business and her clients and it shows. I first officially met Jennifer for my skin consultation and she recommended products that completely transformed my skin - products I still use well after the wedding by the way. She was so knowledgable and I was super impressed, I then knew I made the right choice. For the day of the wedding I had Jenny for make-up and Dina for hair, they both knocked it out of the park for myself and all of my girls. We literally had the best time

It was a pleasure to work with Jennifer and her team for our wedding! She was professional throughout the entire process. As I looked for a beauty team, I wasn’t exactly sure what I wanted. I did know that I loved their natural and elegant style. Jennifer helped me work through the process so that I could narrow in on what I wanted. She was so organized and sent a detailed schedule of the day to us ahead of time that I could forward to my bridal party. She was always on time and enthusiastic about every aspect of our wedding.
