The initial good news about this product Thermopower VHP 30 kit is how easy it is to install and setup. I did a roof mount on my carport and had plenty of wire to mount the controller at ground level. This Sunmaxx Solar kit is hands down worth the price . Sunmaxx Solar will get more of my business in the future.

An amazing solar company ! Their customer service is amazing. They pay attention to every detail and are very well-informed about their products. They took the time to come back with answers for every question… I had for them. I didn’t feel rushed or pressured with a bunch of cold calls and messages about when I wanted to get started. Asked for a quote several weeks ago, never received a response. Called them again today, they said they would call me back shortly, never got that call back either. Really tired of their lack of business etiquette, highly recommend not even bothering to deal with this company. Just don't even waste your time with these guys.

On 4/21/15 the solar controller/relay on our EXISTING SunMaxx Solar Hot Water System was damaged due to a power surge. I contacted SunMaxx (Silicon Solar) to inquire about purchasing a replacement. I was not asking for a warranty replacement. I was sent a quote for $500 for engineering services and it was explained to me that they needed to have an engineer review the details of my system in order to recommend a replacement, since my system was 5 years old. I have used SunMaxx to source solar thermal components and systems about ten times now. I have continued to go back to them because there products are great, however every order I have place has been a customer service nightmare! I have yet to pay the quoted price for a system as they always find a way to charge me more. In two orders I only received part of my order within the delivery time provided and had to wait for over two months for additional product to complete my project.
