We prefer to keep a small, dedicated, and focused group, which creates a stronger tie, better serving our clients and earning their trust. Staying focused on what we build and staying small has allowed for greater expertise in the field and a re-assurance of a solid foundation in our commitment to you.
Design/Build is a simple premise: The same firm that designs your project also builds it. This process ensures that one company is completely responsible and answerable for the life of the project, from initial concept through completion. By taking a one-stop-shop, team approach, Design/Build means that you will no longer navigate through an overwhelming number of details, sub-contractors, and vendors alone.
At our initial meeting, we want to get to know you and what you're looking for in your new home. Architecture and building are a balance of form and function. We work with you to determine your needs and aesthetic. This phase may also entail initial work on site selection, budget and timeline. While we can work with any financial arrangement, we have excellent resources for finding the best construction and permanent financing options available.

We have had two wonderfully successful renovations with Black Pines Builders; the first inside redoing and expanding the kitchen, living room, and basement, and the second this last year adding a sun room and new deck. We were so happy with how the first renovation went that we didn't hesitate to call them for the second. We have appreciated their vision, flexibility, and professionalism. We've been particularly impressed with the quality of the subcontractors they work with; everything from plumbing to electrical to painting to woodwork has been excellently executed. I'm so glad I chose Black Pines to build our home. Their work exceeded our expectations in EVERY way. They'll stick with you from the very first phone call to day they give you the keys - making the process of building a custom home stress-free and enjoyable. Everything they do and build is super high quality, custom, and done in a timely manner. Jeff, the owner, is super patient and is a great communicator throughout the whole process. I had all these unique ideas (that kept changing, too) and he never once acted like it couldn't be done. They also have a interior designer who is SO knowledgeable

Amazing job finishing my basement. Everything was on the schedule laid out and at the cost in the estimate. The value for the price was incredible. I couldn't be happier with the results. The staff was professional to a T. Not one issue. I got nit-picky on one little thing after the work was done and the owner was at my house and made me happy instantly. You won't be disappointed with Black Pines.
