A. A modular home is a custom-designed prefabricated building that is assembled in a climate-controlled factory setting. Once the home is fully constructed, it is transported and finalized on the homeowner's property as a permanent structure. Upon completion, modular homes are virtually indistinguishable from a conventionally built home.
